To roll back the radio, you have to root the phone and then un-root it. There are several videos on YouTube that go through the process. Pain in the but because you have to re-install all your apps.
100% correct, i had to root my phone and then roll it back to the older baseband and before it was even done going through the set up, it was pulling in 2.2 for me to install. I will have to fully reinstall all my apps, email, settings.

Not very happy :icon_cussing:to learn this, as I thought using the unrooted method to upgrade the radio would not lead me to have to root my phone to get future upgrades

Well this really is a pain in the A$$, anyone have instructions on how to undo the radio upgrade for a non rooted phone? I am really not looking to root then unroot my Dinc
If not I may have to figure out how to brick it to get a replacement
Omg you can flash an unsupported radio yet complain about the fix???
Well anyways, KerrAvon I owe you an apology, there was a person who just used the new ruu to upgrade without the downgrade. I just found this out today.

When I followed the thread on the radio flash it was thought that you would still be able to get upgrades, which we now know is not the case - If I had known I would not be able to get updates I would not have done it (hind sight is great isn't it?) as rooting and unrooting wasn't something I was interested in.
