Same here, so am I to understand that we can't do the manual update and probably won't get the OTA if we have the radio update (unrooted)? :angry:I tried to do the manual OTA and it failed. I am trying to find a solution on how to rollback the radio and I will try again.
100% correct, i had to root my phone and then roll it back to the older baseband and before it was even done going through the set up, it was pulling in 2.2 for me to install. I will have to fully reinstall all my apps, email, settings.Same here, so am I to understand that we can't do the manual update and probably won't get the OTA if we have the radio update (unrooted)? :angry:I tried to do the manual OTA and it failed. Pardon me for living under a rock the past couple months... but what's the deal with this radio update? Why is it important?

Thanks too much for me, guess I'm off to get a replacementThere is no way to go back with a non-rooted phone. You have to root it to go back.

When I followed the thread on the radio flash it was thought that you would still be able to get upgrades, which we now know is not the case - If I had known I would not be able to get updates I would not have done it (hind sight is great isn't it?) as rooting and unrooting wasn't something I was interested in.Thanks too much for me, guess I'm off to get a replacementThere is no way to go back with a non-rooted phone. Omg you can flash an unsupported radio yet complain about the fix???
Well anyways, KerrAvon I owe you an apology, there was a person who just used the new ruu to upgrade without the downgrade. I just found this out today.
Well to get the upgrade run the leaked ruu. You'll be all set then. No need to root and unroot.
