What kind of car do you drive?

I used to tune bikes in my garage at night and came to the conclusion that bikes that make more noise only do that well. A 105 decibel bike will run a 15 second quarter mile, a 110 decibel bike will run a 20 second quarter mile. My vacuum cleaner bike will run a 11.23 all day. Moral of the story loud butt poo only gives the appearance of going fast.

Average amateur bike tuner doesn't know about standing exhaust pressure and charge loss. Loud pipes generally cost the meat of your lower end power, on import cars too mostly

412 rwhp and the 2013 has 414rwhp

Actually the advertised hp #s are crank hp. The 2011 and 2012s had 412hp and the 2013s have 420. Rwhp stock is around 385.

I'm not saying it was aliens...bit it was aliens.

Correct and I'm over 400rwhp not crank. :p

Stafford is there a forum you're not on? lol

I had an 02. You'd honestly be better off with a 2011+ V6 or GT. 305bhp with a v6. I loved the new edge style(99-04) but these new ones just have raw power.

Lol... don't get the V6. I drove a 2011 V6 convertible and I could not for the life of me get the tires to spin. Yeah, it was quick, but there was no rumble from a V8, and the dang tires didn't spin! I can spin the tires in my Tundra easily. Had to do a brake stand in the V6 Mustang. Plus, the 99-04 GTs sound amazing.

You were doing it wrong. I can spin the tires quite well in my 05 4.0 and i'm down 100hp on the 3.7.

Is there torque management in the first couple of gears? I'd bet that was why...

I prefer the 05+ Mustangs.

Only traction control and that's not really torque management. He just needs to learn how to break the tires loose.
