What kind of car do you drive?

Idk what parts you're referring too... but quality parts for any performance car aren't cheap. You get what you pay for...

+1 ... my srt8 parts are far more expensive than a regular charger

Quality performance parts? meaning as non stock? And when I say cheap I mean in comparison. I'm sure changing the clutch, brakes, etc on a corvette don't cost the same as on a Porsche.

American cars in general are way cheaper not only in price but parts too. I like that.

But honestly I think if you can afford to get a Porsche that's the best performance you can possibly get.

For the most part, the gtr parts are sold as components... its a Japanese car thing.. but parts for it are spendy..

As far as comparatively.. yeah Porsche parts are more than vette parts..

That's the reality of buying a brand like Porsche, Ferrari, lambo.. Mercedes...

As far as performance goes I don't think those cars come close to what Porsche does. Ferrari and and lambo are exotic. Mercedes makes luxury. Whereas Porsche makes pure performance.

And they're very reliable as well.

I been looking at them but not the typical Porsche because they're too small... just the panamera and cayenne.. both monster vehicles

Well, I totalled my truck on Tuesday. I was rear ended and hit the SUV in front of me. I'm probably going to buy an 85 K5 Blazer with a 7 inch lift and 35's that my buddy owned 2 years ago and replaced just about everything on.

Helps knowing resources like Pelican parts, Sunset Porsche (dealership with excellent pricing) as well as online forums such as Rennlist... I'm fine buying OE/Manufacturer Approved Porsche parts. Owning a Porsche doesn't necessarily mean a high price point, especially when it comes to the *simpler* air-cooled 911s. Being mechanically inclined and doing your own work whenever possible is not only cost savings, but personally rewarding as well.
