Went to BB today. Was told the 6th. Went to a second BB was told the 10th. So I did the math 6+10= 16. That is the 11th wed of the year. Divide 11 by .0383 divided by original release date of the 14th and you get 20.52 round up and the release date is the 21st. Which is the 12 monday of the year reverse the 12 and that is 21. So there it is you can't deny that proof.

As soon as Thunderbolt drops I bet there is going to be a lawsuit. Unless they settle or make an agreement behind the scenes. They might be a little worried now that moto is getting sued over Xoom trademark infringement the day after it was released and especially since Verizon is the one with the Thunderbolt trademark

A lawsuit against apple... but who cares. They deserve it for screwing over HTC last year.

And the Xoom lawsuit probably won't go anywhere... there's not enough confusion that consumers will have between XOOM the motorola tablet and Xoom the money sending corporation. If any confusion at all...

I've read on the net, and talked to a few vzw employee's today, and they both said that the issue with the phone is with 4g lte. Right now the xoom tablet launched with 3g. There will be a software uprade for it to go to 4g, but you have to ship it to motorola. What they think is that the software to make the thunderbolt 4g is having issues. It works fine on 3g now but that really defeats the purpose. Like past release dates this is all just a guess, but it's not some huge mystery like others are trying to make it out to be, or a back room deal with apple, htc or verizon. If the stuff was working it would be on the market now. They just wanna work out all the bells and whistles to make sure it's going to kick butt like it should. People in the know, know that the release date has been pushed back. To what date they are unsure. It could be the 6th 10th or even in April. Might as well do it right the first time.

The 6th is not gonna happen, I don't know what hole people pulled this date from. Verizon would not release a new phone on a Sunday. April is not gonna happen either, they are pushing hard to get it out well before the end of this month. If this phone delays any more, all the other phones to be released down the pipeline will get delayed too, and they don't want that. 1 new big phone launch per month is what VZW said awhile back around CES time. 2/10 iPhone, 3/10 TB, 4/10 Samsung Stealth, 5/10 LG Revolution, 6/10 Moto Bionic (of course these dates aren't exact, I'm just laying down a hypothetical timeline that makes a lot of sense if you think about it, keep a steady revenue stream coming in, while not eating into each other's sales too much, and always have something new around the corner). It should not take that long to fix whatever they have to fix, this phone and the network have been in testing and development for ages so they must be very close, they just don't want to release a phone that has any sort of issue. Its not a hardware issue at all, assuming that HTC shipped them already like the CEO said. Once VZW got the TBs shipped from the HTC manufacturing facility in Taiwan, they probably have to take every phone out to give them a software update to fix the whatever the mystery issue is and add whatever bloatware they want (assuming this was not already done at the factory).

Personally, I don't have LTE in my area yet so I don't care if it works or not yet as it won't matter to me for months, I just want the phone soon. Right now, I'd say the major dates to be watching for are 3/3, 3/4, and 3/10.

Also I am sure that VZW doesn't want to be sitting on millions of dollars of inventory any longer than they have to. They want these out of the warehouse and into our hands asap, before HTC starts billing them for interest.

If it is a Battery Issue then there can be a longer wait then originally planned. They can not release the phone with an Battery issue no matter if you are in 4G Area or not. It will cost them a lot more money on people returning there phones then to just fix the problem before releasing it..
