When Will the ThunderBolt Be Available for Purchase

what size was the battery?
The screenshot did not say, but I'm fairly certain it is the 2750 mAh battery and door designed by HTC (Part # 35H00149-01M). It will be expensive, at first anyway. HTCPedia is pricing it at $70, but they won't have it until sometime around 4/8/11.

Note that an even larger battery & door for the Evo is now available for much, much less--it won't fit the TB, but it gives us an indication that the price should come down before too long.

well $70 is worth it for me, if it is 2750mah. it would make it the {almost} perfect phone.

If the Thunderbolts are go, I expect to see them ready to purchase when I go into work in the morning.

Which would mean a launch on the 3rd if they are up.

Nice, if true, but after all the delays, rumors and speculation, I just want this to be over with. Release the phone, and let's get on with discussing a physical reality rather than just a picture on the internet with specs.

I think this is a photo of the new TB. They are pulling all the phones back and "upgrading" to this.

How many people on here remember these.

About all those were good for was cheap(er) long distance calling. Definitely lacking the on the portable aspect, lol.

+1. I'm way past the fun of the hype. I need a phone before this one goes down in flames.

I will assume that if this new info is correct and a release is due this week the we should start seeing lots of TB commercials tonight

Moving On...

After seeing this weeks Best Buy circular list the upcoming Thunderbolt at $299 on a 2-year; I've officially lost my interest in this overpriced single-core device.

Yea,, everyone wants 30 a month. Same as 3g.. but u can use 12gb a month on 3g and not get overage. Wait till jr runs up a 400 data bill.

Uh oh.

This is still much better than charging more per month for 4G service. If you can turn 4G off and just run on 3G when you go past the cap then that's fine by me. It's just Darwinism. Survival of the people competent enough to self-regulate.

I called my BB earlier about the price and they said it's regulated by VZ. He also said the exact price will not be determined until the actual launch. In my mind that says either less or more $$'s
