No thanks. Actually wasn't going to get one anyways, but for a glorified evo, I don't think so. That's insanely priced. And before the fanboi's start going all "oh..but its 4G..and and...lots of ram...and and...big screen" yeah, its an EVO, it has 4G in very limited markets and 4G pricing isn't even mentioned. Not to mention the issues this thing has had prior to launch? For myself, I can wait for something else.

Also as been pointed out many times before... if you take an ad with a lower price such as... Best Buy's ad for $249.99 they will honor it. And this is an EVO 2 if it were anything. Not an EVO. If it were just another EVO it wouldn't get much higher benchmark and quadrant scores. With it's 2nd gen Snapdragon processor it's a lot more snappy.

What are you waiting for?

:shocked:A very well known "leaker". He usually posts things on his twitter before you ever see them on news sites (like the Thunderbolt battery issue). I think he works for Verizon but I don't know how far up the ladder he is.

If you check on other forums, his postings are treated with a great deal of respect. He does appear to have "a history", as it were, of being an accurate source for leaks.

For those that do not know, he is "The Mobile Panda." Well-known tweeter and blogger in the industry, heavily involved in the design and testing of Verizon's new LTE network. Not a random, Verizon Wireless follows his tweets. He has access to devices before most people have even heard a rumor about them yet.

Yes. He knew the TB would be 4G only (no more 3G version) back when people thought there would be a 3G one. He wrote a poem back in January calling for a St. Patrick's Day release for the TB (3/17). He also said Verizon tried to push the date up but rushed it (hence the rumors of issues we have been reading recently). He cleverly leaks issues that are occurring to keep us informed, while not getting into trouble for revealing too much. He is not just an attention seeker, or someone merely claiming to have inside info (he really does have it).
