Anthony is a great player. Coach needs to alternate between amare and Anthony and not play them at the same time. They both wanna be leaders and they can, they shouldn't play together though.
They should lead a different team. Amare should come off the bench I think
Amare and Melo have the problem everyone thought Wade and James would have, conflict at who gets the ball. I knew Miami wouldn't have problems as James has always been a pass first kinda guy. However, Amare either needs a pg who can run the pick-n-roll, or needs the ball to be effective. Melo needs to ball because he doesn't move around without the ball and gets his shots by creating them himself 90% of the time. Lin can be a pretty good pg as he has the size, speed (well had it), and is a pretty good passer. The only thing I have against Lin is he takes the dribble too far and ends up getting himself in a TO situation.
I still think NY made a mistake in signing Chandler. Sure he brings leadership and a defensive anchor, but on the offense he gets in the way by clogging up the middle. Amare can't drive to the basket like he usually does (look at last season when he was at the 5) and Chandler is not exactly a real offensive threat. When you have those 3 in at the same time, the offense is stagnant. One of their "big 3" is going to have to sacrifice their ego and come off the bench for this team to really start getting some chemistry. We'll see next season though, see if Amare and Melo can change their offensive games (which I think there is no chance of that at all) or if Woodson (or some other coach) decides to bench one of their 3 overpaid stars (possibly 4, Lin's value went through the roof because of his 2 week run). I'll tell you now though, you don't build around Amare or Melo, these are two players that are effective on only one end, the offense, and they absolutely need the ball in their hands to actually do something, otherwise you got two sitting ducks watching.
I agree with everything you said except for Chandler. He is my favorite Knick by far. There's a reason the knicks became one of the best defensive teams. Dallas is also struggling cause Chandler is gone now.
Carmelo needs to play with Bibby whereas amare needs Davis when he plays
I like Chandler, he takes pride in his defense and is a great emotional leader. I just don't think he's a good fit with NY. Yes the knicks became one of the best defensive teams, but their offense is stagnant because Amare pretty much needs the paint to be effective (though he has a solid mid range), and Melo has a tougher time scoring when he doesn't have that mismatch at the 4. In terms of fitting the system, and back then it was D'antoni's, I felt he didn't fit it. Under Woodson it's been a bit better, but still his presence in the middle changes Amare's game. I'm surprised D'antoni didn't speak up about signing Chandler as he knows how to use Amare best, guess he already knew he was on his way out...
The biggest FA loss for Dallas was Chandler, but we're missing alot of pieces from last season's miracle. I'm surprised we held up pretty well against OKC, but I knew we'd choke in the 4th.
Melo found his offense a bit this game, I missed the first quarter and half of the second, but from the stat sheet he seems to be the only one wanting to score. Amare only putting up 3 shots, he needs more...Or are they playing solid defense?
And glad to see Bibby out there instead of JR handling the rock, that guy....:disappointed:

Is he? Don't know missed it. I can't stand the way that guy plays tbh, but I guess I understand why NY picked him up. He's a very streaky shooter, but he can play like a real knucklehead majority of the time.

I've always hated how he plays. He'll just keep chucking up ridiculous difficult shots whether he's on fire or not. He dribbles for no reason majority of the time too, never liked him as a player.
Knicks were playing some real solid basketball once Woodson took over, wonder what happened. It kinda died down a bit near the end of the season and have yet to see it right now. Davis has been pretty solid, but his back doesn't seem to be doing so well.
Wish the Knicks still had Shumpert, unfortunate how he had to go down. He took pride in defense and was really good at it. Hopefully he can make a strong recovery.
