YEAH baby! My Demo will be here today!

considering no other phone has video Skype capabilities.

iPhone 4 does (Just got my G/F's phone last week and tested it....)
Sorry to be johnny rain cloud on that.

Johnboy, keep up the great work. I'm very, very curious how the battery lasts on LTE since I have it here.

Also....do you have wifi at home and work, if so...do you leave it connected at both places?

Only over WiFi, right? What was supposed to be new about this phone was video Skype working over the 4G network.

You're thinking about facetime.

Skype w/ Video works best over wifi, but it works over 3G....just not well.
My son talked to his Grandma while on a road trip Sunday, and it dropped voice and video a few times over the course of 10 minutes or so.

JB, Don't they usually recall the demos before they release the phones? Your 1st post was 3/2/2011 but your "..Note" is dated 2/7/2011. :confused:If it's 30 days from 3/2 looks as though the 3/7/2011 is not possible?

What note are you referring to? I got the phone on 3.2.2011, so I will have it a month from that point.

Also, as posted above the TBolt is the same thickness as the DX's camera bump...

I do have Skype installed, but I see no video call feature. I also sent a video call from a laptop to the phone using both just 3G and WiFi (2 different calls) and nothing worked.

I know that Verizon said it would be available at some point on select models during their CES presentation (Linked HERE ), but Skype has not released a Video version on any Android phone, so it isn't a deal breaker to me. They could have on the EVO if you think about it.
