On Motorola's forums they said they would post when testing was finished and it was released so I don't know why there are any rumors or questions around it.

thats the latest info. testing has been done for weeks. this is old news.

Testing has been done for weeks? Are you a tester? If not, then how would you know? The news may be old but it's the most current and most accurate.

Ok well there was a rollout issued last week. So why wasn't there an email sent, and the thread closed and re-open. There are plenty of questions and ZERO answers.

There was a test rollout. There was no public rollout. What questions? You're waiting for a software update not a heart transplant.

... I am SURE testing has been done. Or else it wouldnt have been partially released last week. It is the most current and accurate. But no need to repost something 500 time because they do not want to read through a ton of pages.

I must have been reading things then when it was said that a rollout of 250,000 phones at a time would be updated until the rollout was completed... and reading Verizon's "how to update" straight from their webpage... This is no longer about the software buddy... Its about lack of communication between Big business and its customers.

You must have been. I've never seen anything that said anything more than a test rollout has been sent.
What lack of communication? I fail to see how people feel like they are being slighted by "Big business" just because you didn't get your update NOW! I hate to be rude but honestly you're acting like a spoiled child.

While I understand whay you mean, I don't agree about Droid-Life. I have received some very useful info from that site. Kellex said that "Leandro" was not the source of the info, just some rep that sorta confirmed. Whether this will turn out to be true info or not, who knows. If it was correct we could see updates rolling in a couple days. I for one would hope that the info was correct and that we would receive the updates by the end of the month like we were told it would. The 1st quarter is rapidly coming to an end.

I've actually noticed some of the "sources" on this forum re-post info that kellex posted first. Then next thing you see is other posters praising the person that re-posted the info... LOL

Again, regardless of what info is correct or not, I would sure like this update to arrive before the end of the month. While I said I wouldn't do it, I went back to stock. My patience is really being tested by Verizon. I know we are not supposed to discuss it but I am conflicted every day whether to go back to 2.1 on my own and say the heck with it.

But it's all fun in a weird sort a way I guess. We as humans seem to love to torture ourselves over silly stuff.

I am really confused by the 'my dollars are paying for' that keeps showing up in these threads(not calling out anyone, more than one person has stated this). I will look back at the contract I have with Verizon but I am pretty sure it is for voice and data services. I don't remember anything else being promised in exchange for my money?

Actually the majority of people on this forum are probably running 2.1. Myself included. And correct me if I'm wrong but you didn't purchase a 2.1 device. So if you're using the 2.0.1 device you paid for then you already have what you paid for.

There is no damage to control. I'd be surprised is 1% of Droid owners care about this update.

Why are you compromising CK. You can not let up; if you give an inch they will take a mile. Keep it simple and clear. Post that you have it with the pics; any thing else is just "spam"...because we know you do not have it. We know no one has it or they would have been showing it off like a lottery ticket.

I noticed that as well. Kellex misunderstood what Leandro was saying. Folks, there is way too much "reading between the lines" with this whole 2.1 update.

Out here in "Droid Land" everyone is looking for either the conspiracy, or trying to uncover the "secret", or parsing every word that comes from a rep from either company, looking for the hidden meaning The facts are in plain sight, and there are those who choose not to see them. For all of their hard work, and patience, the Moto, and VZW reps have got to be fed up with questions about 2.1. They know about as much as we do, or, if they do know more, they are not telling us.

Because hook, rightfully so, didn't want him posting that same thing 2-3 times a day. When he kept doing it a few times a day hook warned him, then pm'd him, then finally had to issue an infraction.
