I noticed that as well. Kellex misunderstood what Leandro was saying. Folks, there is way too much "reading between the lines" with this whole 2.1 update.

Out here in "Droid Land" everyone is looking for either the conspiracy, or trying to uncover the "secret", or parsing every word that comes from a rep from either company, looking for the hidden meaning The facts are in plain sight, and there are those who choose not to see them. For all of their hard work, and patience, the Moto, and VZW reps have got to be fed up with questions about 2.1. They know about as much as we do, or, if they do know more, they are not telling us.
hmmmmmmmmm.......

seems to me Tim is up to something here. Upon further examination this posts reveals we have a mole in our presence trying to spin information.

Please take note that I have bolded and changed the text color and have decoded Tim's post.

Why are you holding out on us Tim and what do you know?

The masons have left us the key! I cannot say more here but if you fly over Washington dc at a precise altitude the streets around the National Mall will resemble a QR code. When you scan it with your Droid it will bring you to the secret URL that will start the 2.1 update :icon_eek:

Well if you notice Kellex just threw Weds out there and Leandro didn't even bother reading it. Leandro was just responding to the roll-outs after the initial release when he said yes.

It's not being released today.

This has absolutely ZERO to do with uncovering a secret. We're not trying to find out who killed Kennedy. We pay Verizon for a SERVICE. we pay their paychecks with our monthly access fees and plans and to not have ANY kind of communication when it comes to something that would benefit the consumer MOST people would feel its their right to know. We already know they AREN'T telling us anything. THAT is the problem to ME as a CUSTOMER.

What I meant was, that since we are not being told (and it is irritating to me too) there are those who are looking for something other than what is there. You are right, we are paying for a service, and so far, Verizon is providing that service. The update was developed to enhance the device we have, our devices, for the most part, are working well without it. However, that being said, the update has been finished, and VZW and Moto have been saying for some time now that Droid gets 2.1, three times (or two, if you don't count Jan 22nd) they said the update was coming, and it didn't. Right now, they at least owe us a reason as to why....

You have to be at the precise altitude.. I cannot post it here but you might want to look around the Lincoln memorial for a hint.

Hi, I'm new here today on Driod Forums
so i have rumors about Update 2.1 in other sites but i didnt get update for now and We have to wait getting update in soon hopefully!

The link does work now, but here is what it says,

**UPDATE**03/24/2010 - 2:24PM -PST
Apparently Verizon is not releasing any updates for the Android 2.1 Platform NOR do they have any information on it. According to Verizon, they said that they are not the ones that are pushing out the update and that Google was the ones that are working on releasing this long awaited update. Google still has not let Verizon in on any ETA's or anything of that sort. So i guess all we can do is just sit tight and hope that Google finishes soon!
