tomorrow can't get here soon enough. For some reason, Helix is running slow on my Droid and maybe 2.1 will secretly have my 5 screens. Glad I'm EST, but hopefully that first 1,000 as well.

Actually; people in the eastern time zone will get it last (by local time).
12:00 EST is 9:00 Pacific.

that doesn't mean we'll get it last, it means for pacific timers, it'll be 9:00am when the roll out begins. time does not slow down or speed up because we're in a different timezone, 12:00pm EST and 9:00am PST are exactly the same time

I understand that; that is why I typed "(by local time)" at the end of my statement.

Pacific people will get their update earlier in their day than us Easterners.

If anybodies interested... I think theres a 0.9524% chance for any single droid user will get the update tomorrow. On Saturday though theres a bit under a 1 in 4 chance for you to get it... just some simple calculations based off the info... most of you probably already figured something along those lines...

(assuming there have been 1.05M droids sold...)

No, its not official, but its what you will get with the OTA. There are a few caveats. Check the hacking help forum if you want more info.

ITS NOT A GOOGLE PROGRAM!!!
Flash will be out when Adobe actually releases it!
Flash 10.1 is the only version that will work with mobile phones and ADOBE hasnt released it yet.

Just found out that the ESE53 will be the official software that launches with Verizon on 3/18/2010. 2.1 is here!!!!

People get confused because HTC is putting it on ROMs of future phones that have had their ROMs dumped and leaked. Folks are forgetting this is a Google Experience phone. For better or worse, Android is vanilla and without any major modifications.

You right that adobe has to release the flash. But I believe the understanding was that the update may include a software change that will allow the droid to use flash when adobe releases it. Because I can not compare the two I do not know for sure.
