So when you went into stock recovery, and did you install both zip files from your SD card?

i didnt take offense.. 
this is how we learn. and yes i tried to install both zip files. they failed though because i think something went wrong when i pulled the battery the first time. had i known beforehand that i had to press both volume buttons at the android exclamation point screen i dont think i'd be in this mess.

Im guessing 893 fails due to the boot.img? The script doesn't restore that until after its rooted your phone. Did the CDT fix script finish successfully? I had to power down and boot up again after it was done.

I know what you did! Well I don't know how to solve it but I do know how you got there! Im about to take the plunge so I hope it goes well!Yeah the script said OK on both lines. so i powered down. then powered on and im back to:

*I also reran the runmebbb.bat from the OP and got the same three CG errors as before

maybe my file got corrupted during the upload. just a second and ill post a different link. i know it works because ive been in the same boat and its what kept me afloat. whats the size of the fixcdt.zip you downloaded? it should be 119.9kb

its 120kb... maybe im not doing it right... im doing the volume down power on into AP Flashboot Flash Mode then running the fixcdt.bat

when you boot into ap fastboot is the error still present or is it just normal fastboot ready to flash? if so try booting up normally and when the error presents itself run the script. i wouldnt think it would make a difference and youve probably already done it but the only other option i would know to do is get the fastboot files released the other day and flash in rsd lite. ive got one other thing that might work if youre left with the rsd option though. stand by.

HOOORAYYY! after downloading this and following the "noob guide" from here my phone is no longer bricked!!! im am now on a stock .866 and i believe i am done hacking for today. i will try p3's one-click again tomorrow to hopefully get .901 and the new KIN3XT rom for .901.
and btw... for anyone using this method to unbrick... be patient it took about 30+ minutes to complete! just let it do its thing until you are at the "touch the droid to begin screen" then set up your phone as you would normally and eventually the rsd lite tool will say finished.

glad you got it fixed. i posted that thread where you got that in my post in case my cdtfix.zip doesnt work for anyone else. just trying to get all the files necessary together in one thread so people dont have to search. i also wrote some troubleshooting in the event of any of the issues ive personally gone through and witnessed others go through arise.

Okay so I ran the Path saver with the runmebbb, and I got all the way to .901, but somehow, i lost rootWhy is that? I thought it was suppose to forever root for me. What should I do? Should I retry the path saver?
You certainly can!
And if it doesn't work, follow the instructions from this post to fix the issue.
