For all we know it'll be the exact same thing, but why it would take this long to edit a couple of strings of code to pull the "beta" from them is beyond me. We're hoping it'll be hardware-optimized, but at the very least it should be more-widely supported by the sites we hit.You have two choices -- install the Flash 10 Beta .apk available from any number of sources on here or via a Google search, or wait till the 18th when the first final build (hopefully optimized for the Droid 1) will be released to the market.I live in southern illinois and received the update at about 9 am this morning. My wife however has not received the update yet. I have to say 2.2 runs pretty smooth on my phone and my phones is much faster now. I did notice that flash is not enabled with this update. I looked on the market for adobe flash player 10.1 and never found anything. Am i looking in the right place or do i need to go to adobe's website and download it?
I'm running the beta. I am assuming (and asking you for knowledge) that I should get the non beta when it's in the market.
I'm going to say YES!
