So sorry not to talk about root or not root... but a heck of a lot of rooted hecklers are posting here how bad the OTA 2.1 is, and they have have this and more for a long time.. they are so right!! I just looked thru the forum posts where they should be posting and noticed a heck of a lot of issues with there flawless hacks. have fun fellas:icon_ banana:

Their not updating any more phones until tomorrow night.....I have astro file manager installed the file down loaded into the download file in astro manager i can see it but how do i move it to my sd card? and change the name
Touch and hold.. On pop up screen select "Edit", "Move"
Go to your SD folder.. Touch and Hold.. On pop up screen select "Paste"

I think they meant tonight at midnight, as the post says 24 hours after the last update, which is tonight..

I'm getting REALLY good battery life as well AND I'm running LWP's.
No issues or complaints here.
Do you dock it? What does your screen look like when Docked? I need to know if I have to somehow uninstall an old APK to get the current look going.

Thats with moderate to heavy use (downloading live walls, testing walls, phone calls, net, texting, reading news widget)Do you dock it? What does your screen look like when Docked? That's about the same performance as I was getting - but then I had to use the Navigator to get home (first time I've used it at length) and had it plugged into the car charger. It was 60% when I plugged it in and 80% when I got home.

My wife got hers today. I did not get to mess with it and she only had limited time with it also but her initial impression is that it seems to be noticeabely snappier but she seems to be having some glitches....widgets not loading force closes etc. Obviously she did not do a factory reset because the average user would not do that......if her problems persist ill have to screw with it. Maybe it doesn't like some of her apps or her home replacement etc....etc......I'm waiting patiently for droid mod to get me an update!

That's great to hear CK......I can't wait to get the update. I have decided to wait for the OTA.

isn't it supposed to have a flash player?
Flash has nothing to do with the update. Flash will be available when ADOBE makes it available. Most likely it will be on the market as an APP.
