After waiting for so long, i must say the update was insanely anticlimatic! i did the manual update btw. went smoothly. took a total of maybe 5-7 min.

Ok, so its 530 am in the Philly area, and I still havent recieved any notification for any update. Im reading that I could update manually. Where can I find this? I cant find myself reading through 162 pages in this thread to find it.Hehe

3:25 am here and I got nothing... sounds like a stupid ass april fools prank to me...

and to think, i just unrooted and uninstalled the newest smokedglass rom to hopefully get a stock 2.1 update and go from there...

Verizon's page on how to update shows the 2.1 update, so it's legit. They are just not allowing all users to update at once, cause we would crash their systems

OK seriously for all of you saying "Its X:XX am and i haven't received the update", Its because you WONT GET THE UPDATE until 11:59pm tonight! It is posted on the first page people. Take time to read and not post stupid posts because you failed to read the First Post in this thread!

As a matter of face i will post the Schedule here for you so you can see for yourselves.

Software Schedule:
Below is the software-upgrade notification schedule (All times listed are Eastern Time):

• At noon on 03/30, 1,000 users will receive notification of the update.
• At 11:59 PM on 03/30, 9,000 more users will receive the update notification.
• After the first 10,000 users receive the update on 03/30, there will be a 24-hour period when no additional upgrades will be delivered.
• On Day 3 (04/01), 200,000 users will receive the update notification at 11:59 PM. This schedule will continue each day thereafter until the update has been delivered to all users.

So if you don't get it tonight then you may get it the next night or the night after that. If you cant wait do the manual install.

I am just going to put this out there and dont blast me because i honestly dont have 5 hours to read 157 pages of "is it out yet" and "my rooted rom roasts your rear" i could care less. what i am wondering is did anyone realize that 1159 on 4/1 is actually tonight that 200,000 people will be getting updates everyone seems to think it was last night but if you look at the time it is tonight. just an observation and this could have already been covered well good luck to all

Philly area too, I did the manual update.. but I dont think its geographical..

i also noticed that i am able to now hold the phone between my ear and shoulder and have a conversation. it never worked before.

This might seem a dumb question but if they are selecting phones at random to receive the update what happens if they select someone who has already done the manual update? Will it realize that phone is up to date and roll to the next person on the list or does that person count as one of that batches 200,000? i hope it skips over cause the average person who is not into updates and stuff have a better chance if we don't count when we already updated.
