Android 2.1 Update Rolls Out For Motorola Droid!

I manually installed the update, works exactly as it should. ... the only drawback, and A HUGE one for me (that I unfortunately didn't consider beforehand) is NO WIFI tether :-(. How can I revert back to 2.0.1 and redo B.B? Please help.

huh I am doing wifi tether right now as I type this, so apparently that can't be true.
O.K. I am officially retarded ... I panicked when I lost my extra screens during the update. I would still like them back. ... would it be worth it to try flashing 2.0.1 back and do the ROM process again?

That's one of the first things I noticed was that they did something to the screen to make it much sharper and crisper. I can read stuff better and they also modified the lighting conditions settings.

My call quality was perfect before... so no improvement, could only get worse.

I'm curious if ANYONE has a Docking Station and can tell me if the lights still stay on all night and what theirs looks like now.

I have mine docked now, looks the same except the home widget thingy is moved and their is a music one now too..

HelixLauncher in android market will blast you with 7 screens on 2.1, with a black app tray, no FCs, and best of all it is free and free!

So Verizon and Motorola are saying that it isn't official that the OTA is out. Does this mean that I'm screwed since I manually updated??

I also heard Verizon and Motorola that the leaked update will stop working on
14/4/2010 when the beta program is ending for this version .

Can you post a pic? Do your lights stay on all night like before?
