still no update for me ! had to be one of the first to own as ive had my droid since early november, could it be a yankees fan not pushing it to Phillies fans ? WAAAHHHHH

Also, those have received the OTA update, does your version say "2.1-update1" as well?

I did the 2.1 download manually and did a battery pull but it is still very laggy should i do a factory reset.

Also had some issues with helix. I did the factory reset beacause helix kept force closing.

Just curious, was helix your active home app when you did the update?

It may be caused by the type of live wallpaper you're using. Try using "water" that's what I use, and if it still lags then do a factory reset.

Cool so far! Like others have said, crisper, snappier overall. Not sure about the text to talk yet cuz im using handcent. Be patient, they gotta show Chelsea some luv soon!

Handcent has text to speech. When entering a message hit the menu button (the one that looks like 4 horizontal lines) and there should be a microphone you can click. From tests I did before and after the update it is much more accurate in 2.1.

if i do a factory reset from privacy setting i read in another post u will not lose apps and anything else is that true cause when i try to do it from privacy settings it says i will lose everything so just curious?

Change to K-9 mail from the market - works better.

I use two email accounts on my Droid (not including my Gmail account). Since the 2.1 update, I have noticed that I get my email AUDIBLE alert, but when I select my "Email" icon, and it brings me to my list of 2 accounts, it is not showing me the quantity of emails next to the corresponding account.

This is happening more times than not, and it is starting to irritate me. I need to check both accounts to make sure I am not missing anything.

Also, I have noticed A LOT more ghost notifications with both of those email accounts.

Is anyone out there having the same issue?

No it wasn't even installed when I did the update.

Did you use helix launcher or helix launcher2?
