Helix2. Supposedly the new launcher slows it down some. Sticking with Helix for now.

I thought I read 2.1 bring more than 3 pages.....is this incorrect?
And what is with the 2.1-update1...?

The Nexus got 5 screens (or was it 7) with 2.1. Milestone was increased to 9 with 2.1. They kept the Droid at 3 with 2.1. Easily solved with Helix (up to 7 screens).

Update-1 might have been a quick update just to stop all the complaining from people on where the update was. Following updates might fix the multiple home screens and other add-on that aren't in this update. The phone still might have issues with those applications and further updates will be needed to correct and fix them. Just a guess.

My guess was it being an updated version of the 2.1 we were suppose to get a couple weeks ago but got canned last minute due to a glitch.

Seems the same to me unless I'm missing something. I'm not sure anything is really new and improved, although, I never really used it that much before the update.

Issue: transparent news and weather app will not install probably because 2.1 has news and weather in it.

Thoughts?

the lockscreen is just improved in terms of security. there was a bug where if you got a call while locked, and hit back or something like that, it would bypass the locscreen

Seems like mine is working fine. The widget popped right up when I installed it.

Isaiah - thanks. I didn't know if they redesigned anything for the new build, maybe added the option to number lock it or something.

Still can't fix the greasy finger trail bug in the lockscreen though. lol

Installed into my phone, wife swore she wouldn't let me touch hers. Then one minute after I installed she said "Do mine too.":icon_ banana::icon_ banana:

She really should do it herself to experience the joy of fooling around with the Droid but she's a bit paranoid still.

Anyone else having problems scrolling in the browser. Everytime I try to scroll to zoom. Its very aggravating. Is there a way to. Turn pinch zoom off?

did the update only come with 3 homescreens still. I did the force update and still only have 3 screens. Also the menu tab is still the same.

They didn't update the number of screens with the update.
