I'm not sure what you are asking me? I forever rooted 5.5.893. Then updated to 5.5.901 and maintained root.

Yes...I'm rooted but I can't install any roms because they aren't compatible with the new system. At the current rate it won't matter unless some new Devs start working on it. Dhacker is hard at work on ICS but Th3ory, Kejar31 have moved on. Nitroglycerin is still working on stuff. Cell Team Six?!?

I hot an Email from Jrummy he said if there is gonna be another telease it will be 901 but didnt knkw when . Did you download the zip or get it from Moto? Even if you had backups of the roms they still didnt work?

Got it OTA. I tweeted VZWSupport before I installed it. They confirmed that I should. I have a copy of the update file saved on my sdcard.

They are both the same file as far as I know. The only question is if VZW knows who got and who didn't. But even if they do know the next update will work the same for everyone. Does that make sense?

Yeah it makes real good sense I dont think they have a way of telling who they sent it to. If they are the same and they change something they have to change it for you as well as anyone else. I dont believe they sent it out by mistake either. You guys were gineau pigs. Besides that you dont have to be rooted to get it do you?

I purchased a bionic when it launched back in Sept and I have to say that was the very first time I spent $300+ on a paper weight. I was pretty much paying for an unlimited NO data plan till I started demanding refunds. Till this day I can't seem to understand how Motorola put out a phone with so many bugs right out of the box with all that time they had to test with all the launch delays. After the promised November update was delayed I said f-off and since the nexus wasn't available I ended up with another ****ty phone the razr in MY OPINION. Needless to say I won't be buying a moto unit for the rest of my life. Loving the nexus

Ya know I had a nexus in my hand opening day> The only reason I didnt get it was because of the mini sim card deal. I have a Thunderbolt & Bionic both using the regular sim cards I always like a backup phone. I would have had to sell both phones they would have useless different sims. So Im thinking the Rezound if it ever gets s off.

That would likely my choice too. You don't hear much as far as bugs on the rezound. Everyone seems to be happy with it. What is ur feeling on the fast nexus updates already ? That was my biggest selling point

Like I said I had one in my hand. I would have bought it. Sure couldnt any worse than the Bionic. Why wouldnt you give google a shot there making a good name for themselves.

hmmmm. I don't have any Data with my bionic at the moment. No 4G, No 3G,... nothing. This is my first time experiencing this. I have had this phone for 2 weeks. And ofcourse it comes at a time when I want to stream my teams football game , while at work, during Christmas Eve!!!.

I will give this issue a little time. But if this keeps up, Best Buy might be seeing me with the $150 Difference for the Nexus very soon.

Any Ideas of how to get my Data back up and running? Or is this a verizon issue, etc...?
