Battery drains fast!

I took off Facebook notifications apparently they were on. Never put them on but when you update Facebook it does things on its own. My battery has been far better idle.

For some random reason my battery has gotten awesome battery life today. 7 hr and 35 min with 40% remaining. No reason for it that I'm aware of!

So these are my results of running GummyNex 0.2.6 with the matrix 1.5 kernel undervolted and over clocked throughout the day. Pretty good if I might add. Better than stock.

That's my result with my extended battery with pretty heavy usage constant texting picture messages words with friends different apps and web browsing. I am rooted but stock not running any roms or kernals, only thing is debloat on apps and verizon crap I don't use. I'm satisfied with how long it lasted, I'll be doing a second run tomorrow to see what I can get out of it again.

I've tried every 'fix' listed in this thread short of a battery app and re-ROM'ing/kerneling.

This isn't anything we can 'fix'. I don't have FB, live in a good signal/wifi area, disabled G+, blah blah blah.

This is something that needs to be addressed forthwith by Google, not us. It's the most advanced cell phone on the market and while all early adopters are going to have issues, this should be something that they acknowledge and address.

So far they've done neither.

It's been out a week... You do have the option to change the rom and kernel if you choose. And it does help. So you can either wait for an official ota, do it yourself, or take it back. Complaining does nothing to improve it.

Right. Thanks.

Immediately after screenshot...battery died. Screen was on a lot. I read a lot of stuff which uses screen mostly. Next time I get a result like that I will take down some data.

Battery stats don't reset until it's charged to full.

Yes I am aware. I put the second battery in...hence I have no stats for you. But thanks.

Screen cant have been on for more than 25% of the time..since whenever mine is on alot (~50%) my screen battery usage is on about 60%. Unless all of your other processes use double the amount of what my processes usesView attachment 44610

What I think seems funny is that I let it drain until it shut off. Yet I can still turn it on over and over again and get back to the lock screen before it shuts off again. You'd think bootup would use some battery. I think battery drain is a lie, and it only turns off because the indicator tells it to. :)
