I am debating going with the Thunderbolt, Bionic, or Galaxy S2. The $129 Amazon price on the Thunderbolt looks tempting, but I was trying to wait until May for the Bionic. If the Bionic continues to delay, I may have to re-think this decision.

I have been using a Storm1 in which I have to reboot at least 5 times a day. I have been waiting since November for this phone.. I am willing to wait until the end of the summer for this phone or any dual core that is released 1st.. With the Targa you can't go wrong or you can't go wrong with a beefed up Bionic either meaning. 1gb of DDR2 Ram and a better FFC. you do not want to regret your purchase When either of these phones get released...

I'm in the exact same boat as you, Preach. I just bought an X off Ebay to make the wait more bearable - I've had my POS S1 since release and waiting for dual-core LTE. Let's hope the improved Bionic is all it's cracked up to be!
for all you complaining about the "hump" on the back of the targa you guys are high...have you held a droid x bc u def havent if your complaining about the hump...it feels super natural n slick in your hands its a great form factor...and it keeps part the phone super slim
so in all the targa looks leaps n bounds sexier than the orig bionic design which looks uber big n bulky i wasnt a fan

Miami, now that it seems the Targa is going to be the new Bionic, is there any more word on whether it might still be a vanilla android/pure Google device??
Depending on when the iP5 is released, I'm betting on an Aug or Sept release....
