Does your 4G ever drop for a few seconds or a couple of minutes?

I randomly lose 3G and 4G from time to time. When it happens, it loses data on and off for a couple hours about once every 3 weeks. Not sure what's causing it.

My drops were happening daily at work and seemed to happen about 10 to 15 minutes after I took the phone out of sleep. Went to VZ corp store yesterday was told by one csr that my Advanced task killer was causing the problem so he uninstalled it but after that did not fix the drops they replaced the sim card. But I was told that my problem was a software issue so we will see today if this is resolved. One thing that kind of made me mad was the csr's response "you don't pay any extra for 4g"

"You don't pay any extra for 4G" what a dumb thing to say, totally irrelevant and not relating to the issue. You also don't pay for inconsistent, non-steady 4G.

So far I have tried everything you guys have recommended and no success thus far. I haven't gotten a new SIM card but from the looks of it, a new one doesn't help.

Now I think about it I got it on my rezound but the rezound would drop to 3g and stick there. I would have to switch airplane mode off/on to get lte back. Now where is galaxyflactulence to tell us "don't blame the phone blame the network".

Well the CSR said Verizon wouldn't replace my phone if the connectivity issue couldn't be resolved. I said I can resolve it by going to a different carrier.

Not Good

My phone has been dropping 4G and even any connection a lot more lately. It is very frustrating. I will try some of the things I read here. It is just a shame that Verizon will not do more to fix the problem.

I have not had 4g for the last couple days in Frederick, thurmont, walkersville, or anyplace in between.

I access the internet often during the day and I'm getting pretty sick and tired of getting the "no data connection" screen. It happens at least once daily and I have to reboot the phone often at the most inconvenient time. Not sure if this is the same issue being discussed here. The only reason I haven't complained to Verizon is I figured it had something to do with recently moving to an area with a weaker network. I get OK 4G in Fort Lauderdale, but driving just a few miles west puts me in 3G territory. I know it wont give me 4G where it doesn't exist, but I'm still hoping the update will help connectivity. Really missing the solid 4G in the NYC area since I left...has that changed?

I exchanged my Maxx for another Maxx in the 14 day window because of this issue. My second Maxx did the same thing so I returned that and pre-ordered an SIII

I downloaded the first one that appeared and my data dropped 3 times within minutes. Whh is the developer of the one you're talking about?
