Well the reason for the different clock speeds is because the update runs a stress/benchmark test before u see the upgrading android screen if u dont pass it then ur stuck at the stock speed :/
 
I understand it comes down to the stress test but why would the stress be different if they are all supposed to have the same internals. So i might think that maybe something isnt active in some bionics. That they are trying to correct. Otherwise we all might get short changed and the ota will stick us all at 1.0 ghz instead of giving all of us 1.2.

Lmao this is my last post for OCing but this is what my cpu is running at an hey samurihl as an added feature maybe u should add OCing to HOB

I'd prefer not to. OC'ing should be left to decidedly more advanced users as it can greatly affect the stability of your phone. Sadly, a lot of the HoB users can't be bothered to take the time to read how to install an update much less figure out how to do a stable OC. :)

Lmao just dont go 1 mhz over 1.4 ghz an u will be fine xD samurihl u should OC ur bionic an lets have a competition ;)
 
Nah I'm good. :) I've not really been into the whole OC scene on phones. I guess I don't see the point. WOW, you can get a pretty benchmark picture! WOO HOO! But will it help me kill more pigs? :D

Lmao kill more pigs? An u think ur bionic is awesome with ICS overclock it to 1.4 then it goes from bionic to bionic with jet pack wearing track shoes xD its insane how fast an responsive this phone is
