Alright no problem. I think I will use the old version just to be safe but I think I will wait for the weekend because .246 is running so well with insanely good battery life lately.

Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a jerk, but, you really can't begin to understand how many people I've had to fix because of failed 6.14 flashes. On 3 forums. I'm quite frankly sick of dealing with it. I've already had 2 people contact me tonight about 6.14 failing...even though one of them had it work fine on 246. It's an unstable pile of mess IMO. 5.7 WORKS. We know it works. IMO, stick with what works.

Get the 247 update installer and run it. It'll extract 247, the boot img, and the recovery img to a folder on your desktop. Copy the 247 update to your sdcard-ext and install it from recovery.

Just an FYI. If you're going to 247 I DO recommend installing the HoB anyway. There's no FXZ if you f something up with your phone. But if you leave the 247 update on your sdcard-ext (HIGHLY recommended) the HoB can recovery a bricked phone using the REINSTALL option.

well, the different boot.img worked! it's still rebooting though. does the "upgrading media database" take especially long during the "android is upgrading" part? cause it's been sitting there upgrading the media database for like 5 min now.

5 minutes....ROFLMAO LMAO. Some people had to wait 10+ HOURS. Do NOT kill it. You will regret it if you do. Let it finish.
