I'm no expert, but I'm assuming you used the wrong RSD...Need 5.7..I made sure to "downgrade RSD to 5.7 before the upgrade from .246 and I had no problems whatsoever...

The closest wifi that's fatter than my 3g is a 30 min drive down interstate. And that puts me in LTE area.

The 247 zip never transferred to the phone so i tried to manually install the 246 zip I had but it didn't work. When the phone reboots it stays on the moto logo for a while then the screen goes blank. Any suggestions?

How did the 247 update not transfer to the sdcard? Considering that I put an impossible to ignore screen up telling you it failed if the md5 hash doesn't match. If 246 is still on the phone use the reinstall 246 option and skip the transfer and reboot steps. You'll have to reboot in AP fastboot manually.

so im trying to go to 247...im to the manual steps, i tried the reboot to get to the recovery menu with up+down+power , turned on and gave me the moto sign for a bit now black screen...did i oops and not hit all simultaneous for some reason? will a power off and then try again with the buttons help? or should i keep waiting for the menu....

ah there we go! thanks, to recovery screen i didnt remember a wait when i did 246 but wanted to make sure
