Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

They had a rather large music collection. But yes, hours. Consider yourself lucky.

So, when you get to the "Updating Media Database" portion of the install, the length of time that it takes is a function of how many mp3's you have? I suspected this was the case, and deleted all of my music files off my SD card before I updated again. I'd rather re-sync them than sit there sweating over whether or not my upgrade was going right or not.

As a matter of fact, I was just re-syncing my music files tonight after moving up to 246 from 232. Then I read where 247 was out. Just damn! :icon_evil:

I think what I'll probably do is use another SD card just to go up to 247. Then I can just put my regular SD card back in, right? Or does each software version need to "see" all of those music files sync, or scan them when it installs?

This is turning into a real PITA all over again.

Where are you at with this? Did you get everything straightened out or do you still need help?

TMYINC sent me the 246 support file. I did a reinstall of 246 a few minutes ago and phone is up and running. Thanks for your patience and checking with me this morning. I will go to 247 later today or tomorrow. You guys are great with your support.

OK good. I don't like leaving anyone without a working phone but even I need sleep once in a while. Make sure 247 makes it onto the sdcard this time and you should be good to go.

Hi Folks looking for some help from the experts. Here is my story:

1. Started at 905
2. Installed ICS 242
3. Rooted
4. Installed safestrap
5. Enabled Safe side on safestrap
6. Installed CM 10 JB on safe side
7. Rebooted
8. Reboot hangs, no safestrap splash screen.

Tried to FXZ back but cdt .bin error at 6/22

I've read and downloaded Sam's files, but am not sure if I can be helped. Thanks in advance.

Well you don't give a goal. What do you want to achieve? A reinstall 242 will get you running again assuming you left 242 on the sdcard like is recommended. Or are you trying to move to 247? Clearly your safestrap stuff didn't work. The best I can do is get you a working stock phone so you can reinstall safestrap and try again if you so desire. But I need more info on what you want.
