Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Well you don't give a goal. What do you want to achieve? A reinstall 242 will get you running again assuming you left 242 on the sdcard like is recommended. Or are you trying to move to 247? Clearly your safestrap stuff didn't work. The best I can do is get you a working stock phone so you can reinstall safestrap and try again if you so desire. But I need more info on what you want.

Yes, a re-install of 242 would be great, however, I would much prefer a working stock phone.

I'm guessing you didn't use the HoB to install 242 originally? My advice would be to grab the 7.6 installer, FXZ installer, RSD 5.7 installer, and 247 update installer.

Put your phone in AP Fastboot mode manually.
Use the install 247 option.
Select N at the transfer step, md5 step, and AP Fastboot reboot step
Select Y at the RSD step

That will put you on stock 247 which is where I feel everyone 235+ should be at this point anyway. From there you can decide if you wanna play with CM10 again. I know one of my users has it working on 247 in safestrap so it can be done. Read the OP and my faq before you attempt it. But the INSTALL 247 option should work.

HOWEVER, that assumes one major point. Can you put something on the sdcard-ext manually without using the phone? Meaning do you have an sdcard reader or other phone you can use to copy a file to your sdcard? If you can't, we'll have to find you another solution that involves fixing 242 first. Let me know how you want to proceed.

EDIT: What I'm referring to is the 247 update zip. It needs to be copied manually to your sdcard-ext cause you can't boot.

I have a card reader and can place the 247 file on the sd-card. Should I uninstall HOB 7.5, then reinstall HOB 7.6 before performing the above steps?

OK good. I don't like leaving anyone without a working phone but even I need sleep once in a while. Make sure 247 makes it onto the sdcard this time and you should be good to go.

247 up and running. Thanks again.

By the way, do you use ROM manager to do a nandroid backup?

Glad to hear it. And no, I just boot into bootstrap recovery manually. Rom Manager has been pissing me off lately as it stopped seeing my SDCARD-EXT for some messed up reason. So I said screw it and just manually boot into BSR and do my nandroid that way.

First off, thank you Sam. I got .246 up and running beautifully yesterday. Had one hiccup on my end, but nothing too devastating.

With .247 though...has anyone noticed any improvements since installing it? I ask because my 4g has been a little spotty today (hopefully due to the weather around here). Also, since I went in and froze a handful of processes/apps through Titanium, I'm guessing I'll need to unfreeze to install .247 properly?

Followed instructions. Fine until flashing from sdcard. Received message: E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (Status 7)

Thoughts? Did I miss something?
