Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Followed instructions. Fine until flashing from sdcard. Received message: E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (Status 7)

Thoughts? Did I miss something?

Only 2 possibilities. Either the RSD flash didn't succeed or your update didn't copy correctly to the sdcard. Post the swdl.txt in the rsd folder and I can tell you which one it is.

Not following Sam? I'm using the RSD 5.7 downloaded from your directions? Again, did I misstep?

I don't believe that's correct info. The error in your log only happens on RSD 6.14. So either you skipped the RSD flashing step or you still have RSD 6.14 installed. When you ran the HoB you skipped the transfer step, the md5 hash check step, and the AP Fastboot reboot step ONLY, yes? You let the RSD step run? If not, um, well, that's kind of not optional as it says at the top. :) And if you did run it, then your RSD isn't right.

That's silly. Of course you don't need to unfreeze stuff to get 247 to install properly. Just do it.

Yessir! I'll get on that first thing this evening after classes. Or...well, after the girl makes it down here, in case I screw something up in the process... XD

(Another one who'll be surprised to learn that his apps are still frozen after the update. HEHEHHE. Man I love the HoB)

Reran entire setup. Same result. I did notice that at RSD step, the RSD window popped up but only briefly before closing.

You've got some seriously whacked junk going on with your phone. Alright, time for an audible I guess. Put it in AP Fastboot mode, boot up the HoB, select 247, then select REPAIR AP Fastboot ERROR. Once that's done, shut it off, boot it back into AP Fastboot, and try the install again...starting at the RSD flash step. If RSD doesn't flash this time, give me the log again. If it doesn't work this time, I'm calling a trick play and will work with you directly to fix this.
