SAm, I was upgrading from 232 to 247. I got to the first stock recovery step and choose the update and flashed. I got a status 7 abort. My swdl reads,

10/04/12 17:04:04 The FlashLog key is turned off.

RSD isn't seeing your phone. It didn't flash anything. Read the FAQ and do all the things in there. Drivers, USB2.0, OEM cable, etc. Not sure what's going on with some people's machines today but you're not the only one that RSD doesn't seem to like.

so what step should i do right now. Boot back into fastboot and see if a different USB port recognizies it. That has happened on this laptop before sho its possible.

It hasn't touched your system so you can reboot it normal for now til you figure out why RSD isn't liking your phone.

alright i made sure fastboot and rsd were recognized on a different port. Going for try #2

Before bothering to boot into recovery after RSD, check the swdl.txt first. Leave everything as it is after RSD finishes, and look in the swdl.txt file. If it doesn't show it's done anything, it still isn't working.

it went through, its in the stock recovery updating process (currently updating BP) will report back with my successes/failures haha

Samuri I did read everything. Im using 7.5 I'm installing 247 from 232 and all went fine no errors but I can't boot past Moto splash screen after moto screen bottom buttons light up along with a blank screen. I thought I saw where some one else had this problem but I can't find it now?

would I put into fast boot and reinstall?
please help...
