The SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic directory doesn't have to be on the desktop....it's just the easiest place to put it. EVERYTHING else goes INTO that directory.
I'm having issues with the script/download files. I have the fxz, but I don't have the update files to run ics on my sd card. Also, if I run the 905 zip file on my phone, I get an error (system 7). I don't have the phone connected while doing so. What am I doing wrong?
If you downloaded the script zip the ics leak should have been pushed to your phone. the .905 file actually says 5.9.902 and the ics leak says 5.9.905 to 6.7.232. when you go to flash these in recovery flash the 5.9.902 file first then the 5.9.905 file next

neither do I, but I'll give it a shot tonight after I get home and post the results tomorrow. I do like SS, it will let you switch between different ROMS without fear of mucking things up too much but I have heard it does mess with trying to update.
I know it's unusual (and probably bad form) to quote yourself but just wanted to let everyone my experience wth running the latest version of the Samuri script to update to the .232 leak. I had tried the previous version to go to .230 and ended up having to FXZ. I had not seen it mentioned in any of the previous postings but it looks like you can't have SafeStrap installed when trying to do the update. I had it installed when doing the .230 update and when the script ran, I never received any errors until I did the reboot after installing the update in recovery, then the phone would not boot past the red M. So what I did this time was go back to the unsafe side and uninstall Safestrap and delete the files from its folders on the internal and external SD card. As a test, I went and installed and made configurations on the unsafe side (since it was just a "virgin" install of the .232 leak) and then ran the masters script. It worked PERFECTLY! I didn't lose any apps or configurations. After everything finished up, it was just a simple matter of reinstalling SS and going back to the safe side and reinstalling the previous ROM. I probably could have just saved my latest SS backup and then restored it but I figured I would just install new since the ROM had been updated to take advantage of the leak.
So, thanks a million times master Samuri!! :hail::hail::hail:
Hmmm... I must have been mistaken then, I thought that flashing with this script removed any references to SafeStrap without having to do a full FXZ. Now that I think about it though, if we aren't losing any data then it would make sense that it happened that way.
