Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Haha I had the problem when I ran the script =(

And you paid attention to the screen while it was running? Cause we flash the system image for 902 which would have overwritten that file. The whole point of the script it to take you back to stock. If it's still got a messed up mount_ext3.sh file in there, then I would expect flash errors to have happened.

Yup everything said it was okay while flashing back to 902.

I hope you actually LOOKED rather than trusting the "hey we succeeded" message that I spit out cause that message is completely meaningless. I'm telling you that if that file is still messed up, it did not flash properly. I don't care what it said.

(Please don't misunderstand my tone. I'm not trying to be rude. I'm trying to explain that if the script had run successfully the only thing not touched by it is the data partition.....meaning all the customizations you've done to system/bin would be eradicated and back to stock. Something definitely did not work right with that flash)

I'll run the script later on today and make sure that it did not mess up, but I do remember watching back and forth on the script down the list when it was writing the files it said okay and nothing said failed before pressing a key to continue.

Yea, running the script should definitely return everything to stock so something is very wrong there.

I was thinking about it, should I full FXZ back to 902 then run the script? If not, then i'll be sure to post a screenshot of what the script said after flashing back to 902 before rebooting my phone. (Note: I live on the west coast and I have class tonight, so I may not be able to run the script until 10:30pm tonight)

Thank you for for your help in all this btw.

See, this is the point I was trying really hard to make. The script IS a full FXZ back to 902 MINUS erasing the data (and we skip flashing the radio as that's not necessary and would have no bearing on this whatsoever). So you can try FXZ'ing back but you'll lose your data. The script will apply the images and not lose data. So something didn't go right with the script. Maybe you'll need to FXZ fully I don't know. But that will lose your data if you do.

Wasn't there an FZX .xml file floating around that didn't wipe data?

I thought I saw that in an earlier House of Bionic zip.

I really appreciate all the hard work you and many others do to help us keep our phones up to date. SamurilHL I tried your script and I ran into a few problem. I'm not b!&$#ing mind you, just giving you some feedback. I downloaded your script and checked md5 and it was what was in the op. I let the runme overwrite the original and followed the instructions to run the script. I am coming from 2233 with only frozen apps and root, no other changes.

The 902 flash seemed to go fine but when I tried to install 905 I got a error 7 (?) So at that point I rebooted. The 902 was super glitchy with apps constantly force closing but I tried to install the ota 905 anyway. FAIL.

Anyway I eventually fxzed back to 902, took 905 ota, rooted then installed 232 and all is as it should be. I'm not sure why it did not work for me but I
probably screwed up somewhere in the process because the script has worked for many people.

Yea, I can only say it doesn't seem like those who are seeing the error 7 stuff are having successful flashes. NEVER try to boot 902 or 905 when using my script. EVER. It will *NOT* work.

Hey there. :) You all might want to grab the new RUNME.zip I just uploaded. Comments on the changes are welcome. It might shock a few people. HEHEHE. You're welcome. ;)

I have done the following:
o) Install the moto drivers
o) Check the hash of the zip file against the hashes above
o) Unzip SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_v2.zip to your desktop

Not too clear on what to do next. Is it time to plug in my phone? Which file goes on?

Go re-read the OP. It just changed. And make sure you get the very latest RUNME.zip attached to the post, as well.
