Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Looks like 235 is coming guys and gals. Sit tight....I suspect the script will be used again soon. Maybe I'll try out my shiny new factory cable this time.

Thanks for the heads up. Was just about to move from 230 to 232. You saved me an extra flash.

It's going to be an hour or so before we have a link to 235. I'll post it once he's done uploading. Thanks goes to unchoney over at droidhive for finding, grabbing, and uploading it for us.

You just knew it had to happen.

There were a few loose ends in 232.

Let us know what it looks like Sam.

Thanks,

Yea, I'm not really surprised about a new version. And yea, will do. CZ pointed me to a tool made by Skrillax_CZ to check the security of the update to see if we can FXZ back to 902 from it. I will be doing that before flashing and will let you know what I find.

Please be careful with this update. The security has changed from the previous one. I do NOT know if you can FXZ back or not after updating to this. THERE IS RISK INVOLVED HERE.

Well, after more checking, 235 is a one way trip forward. Meaning, once you install it, there's no going back to 902. There are methods to go forward with new updates after this, but, I will caution you on this leak...it's not something I'm going to be able to help people with if things go wrong. Please please please think long and hard on this one as without an FXZ to go back to you can really screw up your phone if things go badly.

I've downloaded 235; not sure if I want to be the first guinea pig. Anybody at Droid Hive taken a chance yet? What security changes did you notice?

I take that back; download choked at 34 megs. I'm guessing traffic is high trying to grab this one.

You know, 232 is running pretty slick. Unless someone finds a significant change, it might be best to sit tight and wait for the OTA.
