Alright so I went to 235 last night so I can play around a bit. NOT recommending others do the same. I'm getting a new phone so if I'm stuck on 235 for a while so be it. House of Bionic will get an overhaul today to allow 235+ users to move forward. I will keep existing functionality as well for pre235 people. But don't rush to install 235 just yet Imo.
I was on 230 ICS and wanted to go to 232. Running latest script but getting
sending 'system' (154178 KB)... OKAY [ 22.589s]
writing 'system'... INFOPreflash validation failure
I'm using the 905 FXZ with no data loss xml. I tried twice but get error with system and cdrom.
Boot failed. Anything I can try or RSD only hope?
House of Bionic has been updated for support for 235+ users. EVERYONE PLEASE read the OP carefully before using the new script. The options have changed and if you pick the wrong option in the menu you could brick so please be careful.
For 235+ users, if you are updating to a new ICS build, you will need a NEW boot.img file that goes in the ics_boot_image folder. DO NOT overwrite the one from 905 FXZ in the main folder. The current one that's in the ics_boot_image folder is for 235. What this means for those in the back of the class is that you WILL NOT just blindly try to jump to a new update the second it's posted as you WILL soft brick yourself in doing so. You MUST wait for a new boot.img to be posted or you can learn how to make one yourself. If you are in that latter category and like to do things the hard way:
Woo hoo! I successfully patched the 905 boot.img with the boot.img.p from 235 to create a new boot.img for 235. Yes, we already have one in the House of Bionic. But I needed to make sure I could follow the procedure to make my own so that when the next update comes out (if there is one) I could make us a new boot.img to use for it. And apparently I can.
Yea, the ones from the Hive link were around 400MB, while the one that worked was 600+MB. I assume the modified FXZ won't work with this script. Anyways, I RSD to 905 (600+MB file) and manually update to ICS leak and good to go.

My contributions are small compared to the real leaders in our community but thanks! I try to help out where I can. This all comes from things I've learned from many other people. If it helps others, I'm very happy.
