I don't consider that indicative of anything other than them locking down the updates. They locked down the D4/RAZR updates on day 1 so we can't make that assumption just based on that.
Script updated for those with severe reading comprehension and misunderstand of what "put the fxz files in the root directory" actually means. Hint, it doesn't mean extract the damn thing as a sub-dir of the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic dir! ANYWAY, this update takes care of people who can't follow directions...

SamuriHL take a breather buddy its ok trust me been there just remember be professional on the phone but gripe at home ;-) but I understand its frustrating that people just jump in instead of learning how to swim

My frustration goes WAY beyond what's in this thread right now. It wasted several people's time for such a stupid, simple thing. I vented my frustration and fixed the issue. That's how I roll. I may b*tch about it but I also fix it.

The frustration is at least half directed toward myself. Things like this should not happen in my script. I know better than to trust the actions of users (no offense...mistakes happen). If I require a user to put files somewhere, the damn script better be checking for them before sending them off into a long process that will fail.

Put all the required zips an files in one folder along with the script an create a fail code in the script if the required files aren't there or have been modified like the fxz XML does dont leave it to user discretion to put the files in it will open a can of worms for the user an urself

I originally had a fully built zip but it's easier to update a smaller one. I think it handles it well now... It looks for the files in 2 places and errors out if it can't find them. I might improve the logic a bit if I have time. I want it to simply work for the user without a lot of hassle.
Samurai!!! Can u please look at the thread titled 'best all around rom(battery life, data connectivity)' i want to be sure i am steering phooker in the right direction for ics. Thanks.

Uh, yea, I guess. Give me a few. Been working on a new script for us 235+ users. It probably won't be publicly posted, but, I essentially wrote a script that uses Matt's method to create a new boot.img from new updates post-235. This will allow us to use House of Bionic to install new leaks/OTA as they become available.
