Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

I would just like to say thank you to samuri. I just used your script to upgrade from .2233 to .232 and it worked like a charm! No data loss at so far . Again , Thank you!!!

New PATCH posted. Everyone should install it. Including those that used the FULL version.

o) Fixes 905 FXZ flashing
o) Adds more robust 235 reinstall script

No problem. :) The new FULL version is still uploading to my 4shared account and will be another 25 or so minutes. And I'm off to bed. :)

Got .232 installed last night, thank you for the script. Now its a learning experience.

When the time comes for the OTA, you won't have to. ;) The script does magic by only flashing what's needed to get to the next release without losing data or apps. That philosophy was created with getting to the OTA in mind.

That is exactly what I'm saying. I didn't design this script to get you to a couple of leaks and then leave you hanging. :) I designed it so you could quickly move between leaks without losing data so that when the OTA does come out, the script will get you there with the same process in mind. OTA is no different than a leak. The script will get updated for any new builds we get.

For any new build the process is very simple. If you have the FULL version set up now, you'll download the next patch which will include the update, new scripts for the update, and an updated menu to expose the update's options. I may do a slight rewrite soon to make it dynamic (as someone requested) so that if you know what you're doing you can set up the new update directory and RSD script yourself and the menuing will automagically expose it. It's a fair bit of work but it was in fact requested so I'll consider working on it at some point.

Yea, I've been adding ur patches as we go so far...just wondering (when the OTA drops) how long b4 we (in the forums) will see the update?! Not that I need it day one, but don't want to be waitimg forever to see it. :p We've been spoiled with all this early ICS.

Let's say a new build shows up tomorrow. Here's the process I will follow:

o) Download it (obviously)
o) Add the (#####) where #####=version to the filename
o) Get the hashes to verify the download
o) Extract the cdt.bin and check the security against 235...this is an IMPORTANT step that should not be skipped.
o) Extract the boot.img.p and update-script to run through my unpublished boot image creator script so we can get the new boot.img required for those on 235 to flash the new build
o) Add a new ### (last 3 digits of the build) folder to the House of Bionic directory
o) Throw the update into it
o) Throw the boot.img into it
o) Create 3 new RSD scripts for it
o) Add the options to the menu
o) Test it myself to verify it works
o) Let my private testers test it on various versions to verify it
o) Publish it

Seems like a lot of work doesn't it? I can do 99% of that within an hour of getting the new build. ;) It will DEFINITELY be the same day I get it so long as nothing's broken.
