Post what the SWDL.txt in the rsd directory says. Cause I'm telling you something ain't set up right. WAY too many people have run this without issue.

I believe you and I have read this whole thread. I thought I would be all prepared :).

Here is the complete log, not much to it.

08/03/12 12:20:00 New Log Started For Software Download.

Um, it's not even TRYING to flash your phone. I think we need to step back here a bit. Give me a list of all the directories in your SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic folder, and the contents of the rsd_scripts folder. Then detail EXACTLY what options you used in the HouseOfBionic script itself. I assume INSTALL 232, then option 1 to push the update (and you verified the update is on the sdcard-ext), option 2 to put the phone in AP Fastboot (and you verified you were in fact looking at the AP Fastboot screen and if it didn't work you read the directions to manually put the phone in AP Fastboot), and that's when you tried option 3 to flash the phone? I'm sure we can figure out what's going on...just will take a little investigative effort. What version of the installers for the HoB are you using? 2.1 and 1.0 I assume? You have the latest Moto driver installed from the link in the OP? Just trying to go over everything that can cause problems.

Attached screenshots showing folder content.

Downloaded 2.1 and 1.0 yesterday evening.
Installed the following:
Motorola_End_User_Driver_Installation_5.4.0_64bit.msi
SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_(2.1).exe
SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_COMPONENTS_(1.0).exe

Ran HouseOfBionic.bat from a command prompt with admin rights.
Option 1 install 232
Connected phone and set to USB charge Only, verified USB debug mode was checked. USB port is 2.0 and not 3.
SS has been removed.
Option 1 push update to sdcard-ext.
Verified the file Blur_Version.5.9.905.XT875.Verizon.en.US(67232).zip is located on /sdcard-ext/
Option 2 reboot to loader and it did successfully. Phone screen says
AP fastboot flash mode (S)
0A.61

Battery OK
Ok to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected

Then Option 3 and that is when I get the error.

Alrighty then. I'm going to have you do something I don't normally do. Open the HouseOfBionic script and select the INSTALL 232 option. Don't do anything else with the HouseOfBionic script at this point...just leave it on the next menu for the moment. Now do this:

o) Manually put your phone in AP Fastboot (power off, hold volume down while powering on)
o) Load SDL.exe in the RSD directory
o) Make sure it sees the phone
o) Load the HouseOfBionic(232).xml file in RSD Lite from the rsd_scripts directory
o) Start

Now here's where it gets a little tricky. When it's done, RSD Lite is likely to be in an error state and your phone will remain in AP Fastboot. Close RSD Lite and then hit option 4 on the HouseOfBionic menu. This will tell you to shut your phone OFF, hold volume up and down, and then press power. Volume down to get to recovery, volume up to select it. When the android comes up, volume up and down at the same time to bring up the recovery menu. Etc. Follow those steps exactly.

Ok, I noticed you said a few posts back that you were leaving town for several days. How much longer will you be online? I don't want to get into something and be stuck without a phone. I can always wait until you are back.

I'm around for a few more hours. Don't worry, we'll fix you up.

It shouldn't take you long. Also watch your battery power level. It will not charge unless you're booted in the phone. AP Fastboot and recovery will drain, not charge, your battery.

Just going over the process to make sure I have it. After hitting option 4 and I turn off my bionic by hitting the power button, then turn it on while holding down vol up and down brings up the Boot mode screen. I vol down to Recovery, then hit vol up to select it. This is where I get lost. After hitting recovery, what will the phone do? Does it reboot and I do the same thing to get back to the boot mode again? If so, then what or something else?

Thanks

It'll come up with an Android icon. When that shows up, you hit volume up and down at the same time and it'll bring up the recovery menu. Volume down to apply update from sdcard and hit power. Select the 232 update on your sdcard-ext and let her rip. Once that's done, don't reboot yet. Go down to the wipe cache option (NOT factory reset! :D). THEN reboot the phone and let it fully reboot before going to option 5 for root.

Well before I try all that, I installed everything on my laptop which is also running W7 64 bit. RSD lite is now running after hitting option 3 under the 232 menu. I will report back with any updates.

Nice. That's sort of an easier way to go I guess. :D You'll still have to do the manual steps after RSD is done though. Do not skip it. Go to step 4 and follow all the steps after RSD is done. Don't touch the phone until it tells you to.

Minor update to 2.2. Most people can ignore this update if they wish.

o) Added reinstall option for 232
o) Minor cleanup to move some stuff around

The reinstall option is nice for those on 232 and need to fix it. It's a bit more comprehensive than the regular install 232 option.

NOTE: I will be gone starting this afternoon for several days. If a new update comes out while I'm gone, I'd think twice about trying to install it til I get back. I MIGHT be able to post a PATCH that WILL NOT contain the update while I'm away but I'll only have my Bionic for internet while I'm gone so my options and bandwidth will be limited. Right now my netbook isn't cooperating so I don't know if I can fix it before I go. I doubt any updates will be released while I'm gone but you never know. Those on 235 are stuck there until I get a proper patch out for the HoB. Those on 232 or lower could get themselves on a new update if they wanted to, but, with extreme risk. :)

Here's a mirror for the 2.2 files. Patch is up but I'm still downloading the full version and will post the link here when it is up and ready.
