I am having a bit of trouble installing 238. I downloaded the HoB 3.0 and 1.0. I extracted both files to my desktop putting the 1.0 into the file created by 3.0. I uninstalled Safestrap and installed the current USB drivers. When I start HoB, I selected option 6 to reinstall 238. I then am able to complete step one and two. When I select step 3, it does not complete and takes mr back to the main menu. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

o) Added recovery.img to the 238 REINSTALL option
o) Added method for MD5 verification of pushed updates (requires AFV to be installed...see OP)
From here on out, FULL installers will remain on major version (i.e. 3.0) and the latest PATCH will be installed over the top of it. This cuts down on everyone's download size and maximizes people's ability to mirror the FULL installers. The latest PATCH will update from any previous version back to the FULL installer.
I am in Fastboot when I select step three. The RSD Lite window opens up briefly then then closes and says press and key to continue. When I do that, the previous menu opens back up.
Then it's not detecting your phone. Look in the rsd folder for the SWDL.txt file and you'll see that it's done absolutely nothing. I can't fix RSD problems of not detecting your phone.

When you say briefly, how long are you talking about? I finally was able to get HoB installed today (Symantec didn't like the .exe) and ran through the steps. Once RSD came online, it ran for a few minutes. When it closed, I powered down, went to Recovery and installed the update with no issues. If I remember correctly, there are about 21 or so steps that RSD states it will run through when pushing the FXZ, but I don't recall seeing it go past 11 before it shutdown. I'm not sure if that is normal (not an expert), but that is what I recall seeing. Either way, I was still able to install the update. I would suggest trying it again and see how far RSD goes. Once it shuts down, try installing the update through stock recovery and see what happens.
