Downgrade to 902 - No app or data loss

Sure. No idea why it doesn't flash the boot.img that I included for 232. That's disappointing.

I'm sure it's probably me being a dumbass. I've tried to download all of the latest files. The 232 file hasn't been updated, has it?

I tried to go ahead with the install, which of course didn't work, so I'm going back to 905 again to make sure I'm starting with a clean slate again.

This has been very frustrating. About one more attempt, and I'm just going to stick with 905 until the OTA comes out. Going back to 905 with a data wipe seemed to fix two of the problems I was having anyway, that being Bluetooth connection problems, and Google Maps taking several minutes to lock on to my position. I'd love to have 232, but I can't spend another day trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Not for what you're trying to do, no. I really have no idea. I've had 142 pages of mostly success stories so I don't know. If you fxz back to 905, you don't need the HoB....just apply the update from recovery.

Say again?

I'm just finished FXZ'ing back to 905. I know the file is on my SD card. So, I just need Click 1 to Install 232, 2 to get the bootloader screen, then 3 to flash the phone, right?

The update's already on your sdcard-ext. So, once you're back on 905 and have that working, follow the steps in option 4 (skip everything else....the only time I'll tell anyone to do so! :D). Basically you just reboot into recovery from 905 and apply the update from your sdcard. Done.

OK, I'll try that. What's the Step 3/ RSD step for then if I can skip it?

I guess you misunderstand what the House of Bionic is for. :) It's to go from one ICS leak to another. If you're already on 905, you just apply the update and you're done. Step 3 is to prepare an ICS phone to install a newer ICS build.

Yes. As the steps in option 4 tell you, you hit volume up and down at the same time on that screen to bring up the recovery menu. Gotta read. :)

Yeah, well, the reason I asked, is because I got a different looking Droid critter a few time. (When I was doing something wrong, I guess.) It was a big fat round Droid lying down.

Thank you again for your help.

Well, after all that, I still have no service.

"Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped."

Looks like I'm staying on 905 until the OTA comes out.
