Features, and Bug-Fixes, and Themes, OH MY! Sapphire - 0.8.4

This has been the most stable and fastest rom since I started to load Froyo roms. I only get a slight lag when playing music and doing other things. I may try a higher kernel to see if it's better after that. But other than that, I'm loving this rom!
Can't wait to see more features. One feature I'd like to see is the ability to hide the lock pattern and put a custom message on the lock screen like Cyanogenmod.

I've never tried this ROM before. I used ROM MANAGER to install this earlier today and I get stuck at the Motorola logo for awhile and nothing happens. Is this normal, should I wait longer? I used RM to do a data/cache wipe and I didn't install the market fix. I'm sure this has been answered before and I apologize, but their are so many pages to go through.

Thx.

From other roms, doing the data/cache 2-3 times gets them work. Try booting into recovery and repeat that couple times

Goggles

Goggles keeps force closing on Sapphire 0.8.4. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to "fix" this? Uninstall/reinstall does not work.

Whoa, you're right, FC every single time.

I'll alert cvpcs, but in the mean time, try and grab a logcat and post this on bugzilla.

Does this ROM automatically have apps2sd enabled or must I activate the feature?

Thanks

It has the Froyo apps2sd, where I believe the ability to move an app to /sdcard must be enabled by the app dev. A quick perusal of some of my apps show that most do not have the ability (the move button is grayed out), but some do (Pandora was the example I found just to make sure they weren't all grayed out).

For some reason it won't let me add my google account and will not let me open the market at all. I've done the 3x wipe and still no love. .70 worked just fine for me and I really wanna test this out

You've installed the base ROM and the gapps package?

What happens when you try to click on the android on boot?

That tis the problem i don't get the android on boot. I'm trying to remember if I installed the gapps package...maybe that's my issue?

If you don't get the android, my guess is that you did fail to install the gapps package.
