Thank you I will fix in this way I am very exited this rom it´s really amazing.
need it to use setcpu for this kernel?

If you want to manage your CPU usage with profiles. Otherwise it will set a min/max of 125/1000 with the ondemand governor on boot. If that suits you SetCPU is not required.

I stopped using SetCPU with this release of Sapphire. The only profile I ever used with SetCPU was a temp one, and I don't think that ever kicked in except perhaps once. I use the 800MHz kernel and I never worry about overheating with it. Works great w/o SetCPU.

Stupid question for a noob like me the kernel it cooked in the 8.4?

Not quite sure what you are asking here, but
1) Yes an OC kernel is included with 0.8.4
2) no I've never had an issue with heat with Sapphire.

I'm not sure what you're asking either, but perhaps wingdo answered it.

hello. new to sapphire and new to rooting. been trying several roms to find out which one I want to stick with and sapphire is my current one. one issue i've had is the market seems to be really slow...like 30 secs for searches and once clicked on the app from the list, another 30 secs or so to give me the install button and info. I didn't do the market fix cause I had no problem with any apps previously on the phone.

any suggestions?

I'd start with installing the Market Fix.

I am experiencing the same with 0.8.4. I chose not to run the "Market Fix" though. I'm wondering if it's slow due to sorting through apps to display that are flagged as Froyo compatible.

I've had some slow market issues with different ROMs (flashed too many to remember which one).

Try going into:
Settings - Applications - Manage applications - All - Market - Clear cache

Try the Market again. If still lagging, go back into the above and also clear the Market Data. It may take more time to load the Market the first time, but then it should be quicker after that.

I installed this ROM coming from the Leaked froyo build from a while back but none of my apps synced over. I can see my paid apps there but they didn't automatically install and none of my free apps are there too. I thought all the apps are supposed to sync and automatically install?? I did a clear data/cache thing too and installed the gapps and market fix. Please help me someone.

Did you install the Market Fix? releases:sapphire-0.8.4 [CVPCS Sapphire Wiki] Scroll down to known issues and grab the Market update.zip file.
Yes sir as I said I did install the market fix but it still did not sync my apps over. For now I have gone back to my old ROM but I really want to use Sapphire but I can't because it won't bring over my apps :(

I had a Titanium backup of all my apps. After I installed 0.8.4 and the GAPPS.zip, my paid apps weren't available (which was expected). I just picked my paid apps (one by one) from my backup and re-installed them.

This is what I did as well.

clearing the cache made a considerable difference for the better. Thanks!

Hmmm I know that every phone is different and idk whatg it is about my droid but I never see the same problems as everyone else. Even way back with my first rom I've never really seen the problems most ppl have, and belive me I am not patient by any means (I very often choose to skipp backups lol) I'm just curious as to how this can be, luck I spose...
