Oh really? Its a cycle between red eye and the droid text? Or just simply the red eye?

After you fully install and you just see the red eye animation.. It can stay there for quite sometime.

Give it 10min.. Don't muck around with your phone during that time.. It'll load..

Its been ten minutes of alternating from the droid eye to the droid text, nothing new. Getting worried lol (uneasy laugh)

FROM ANOTHER SITE:

Hey everyone, ran into an issue with this.

Was going through the instructions at work today, downloaded the file OTA, moved with Astro File Manager, and rebooted.

When I ran the update file I received an error... though I didn't write it down (). Now, when I reboot It shows the droid eye, then back to the Droid text, then back to the eye. Constant reboot cycle.

I'm in the process of running the update again, this time downloading the file on my computer, putting on the SD card using a card reader. I can still access the recovery console so I should be able to try to patch the phone.

Any ideas out there on straightening this out if it doesn't work?

Also, any links to the 2.0.1 update? maybe I can apply it to roll back the phone?

Factory defaults if all else fails.

(He factory reset and re-updated and it worked!)

Ok I downloaded it and put it o SD card, when I long press to rename it to update.zip, actually just typing in update as the .zip will be added, the OK button right under where I change the name isnt highlighted..

here's something weird that happened to me. install was perfect. phone is great. only difference is, before when i went to facebook. my facebook is touch.facebook.com, at the bottom it always said, Download facebook for your android. now it says download facebook for your hero. any reason why facebook now thinks my droid is a hero?

Ok I did everything right, I think, said installed successfully but now stuck on the red eye when booting...?? Any idea??

Installed, Droid red logo stays on a long time but then worked perfectly. Thanks!
I am much more impressed with the live wallpapers than I expected. The gallery is SO MUCH FASTER than the APK version of the 2.1 gallery.

ok well im having problems moving the file from my sd card to my root folder or w.e i select move an then hit the up file twice an i select root an now it wont let me do anything plus when i plug my droid into the computer to do it that way it comes up removable disc an when i click it to put the file on it it gives me the sd card memory not the main space.

i gotta thank you guys for putting up with my not so tech savy self haha but it seems to be updating now i copied it from downloads to the card an now im at the little yellow bar screen now once its done can i remove it from downloads an the sd card itself?
