Technically this is a possibility, but considering that there is a method to go from .200 -> .206 and .206 -> .208, the consensus seems to be that the same method will work to upgrade to the OTA.

Your build.prop file has been modified. Download the Droid 4 system dump (part 1, 2, 3), extract the build.prop file, and replace the one currently on your phone. Repeat as necessary with any other files that may cause the update to fail.

i did this and the same thing happens. still says the build.prop is messed up

Hmm. You will probably have to start from step 1 then (flashing the 6.13.219 fastboot file)...unless you did that already?

and i did do it all from step one the first time i did it but i didnt work. ill try it all again

That's why it's best to follow the instructions exactly. I tried skipping the 219 fastboot step too and I got errors also. Once I followed the instructions then it worked.

i got it to work. but is data really slow or is it just me?

The radio is supposed to be slightly better than 206.

Do you HAVE to flash with the fast boot files to get this to work? I use Linux 100% of the time (I don't have access to Windows) and I'm not aware of a way to flash on Linux. I haven't tried installing the leak without flashing yet...

You dont have to but it is recommended. I didnt flash it and mine went on the first try!

Hey does anybody know of a way to get rid of the data usage warning? Only way I know is a factory reset and I do not wanna redo everything on my phone.

Do you have a data limit set? (Settings -> Data Usage -> Set mobile data limit)
