I can't help but laugh at those who try to pump the Bionic over the Bolt

Beardface must have used a time travel machine and gone into the future a few months ahead of where we are now, and seems to have physically tried out a Bionic. This must be true, cause he seems to know from first hand experience that the Thunderbolt is WAYYYY better. Totally amazing!! While you're at it man, get me some winning powerball numbers when you visit the future next time!! :)

No time machine would be needed... I've tried out both (@CES). Both were quick, but I didn't get enough time with both of them (let alone side by side) to judge which was better. It's close either way, not like Lambo vs Pinto, more like Lambo vs Ferrari.

Ok... Im gonna ask a stupid question: " what's wrong with being a "fanboy""?

It seems like MOST of you are defending a product you have never tried in your hands... IMO everyone that is defending the BIONIC is simply using someone elses opinion since none of you have tried it out .... IMO that makes alllllll of you fanboys .... Once again , what's wrong with that, and why are yall in denial?? My xbox forum sounds about as mature as this thread... Haha

PS: I'm up for a contract renewal now and I'm waiting for the Bionic cause I love motorola... I guess I'm a "fanboy"

PSS: I love xbox 360 over PS3 . And ps3 has a faster processor... I just like xbox better

Help me understand how any of this is NOT JUST PERSONAL PREFERENCE.... I mean we AREN'T comparing a lamborghini to a pinto.. Whens the last time any of you waited longer than 50 milliseconds to open an app ??

Secretly Swyping from Gingerbread DroidX on the Night Shift .... Shhhh

I agree with you 100%. To me "Fanboy" is just another in a long line of insults(?) that are created as ammunition when all arguments fail. Example: If we're debating phones and I can't find any reason my phone is better than your iPhone I can always call you an Apple Fanboy. I suppose someone who is blindly loyal to a brand regardless of blatant evidence to another brands superiority would be a "true" fanboy but that term is thrown around constantly as a catch all insult.

My two cents: Like what you like, enjoy it and screw what other people think.

My understanding of a "fanboy" is someone who blindly adores something and ignores / dismisses all reasonable criticism. I'm sure most of you have seen this. If not, enjoy...

Love my thunderbolt !!!!!!!!!

I think it's funny because both phones will be outdated by the end of the year. People are dropping 5 to 600 for a phone that will most likely be outclassed in a few short months. With all these Dual Core, DDR2 phones coming they don't stand a chance.

But that is how it goes.....look how many just bought the iphone4 when VZW dropped it.....the iphone5 is what....2 months away?

What's even funnier, is that the phone you finally decide to buy will be outdated within months as well. :icon_ banana:dancedroid

You know, I never like to be 'that guy', but after all the heat I took for this thread, to see breaking news today that Motorola has cancelled the Bionic because its a crap device that can't handle transitioning between LTE and CDMA and has so many bugs that the 'far superior' dual core processor runs out of control and overheats the device to the point of breaking.... Yeah... it was enjoyable...

You know what's even more enjoyable, you spouting out unofficial claims that the bionic is cancelled. Its all speculation, so continue regreting your thunderbolt purchase.

lol. Beardface, don't take things personal here. We really just like to hear ourselves type.
Yeah, the plans for Bionic in the next couple have been delayed/postponed or scraped as they have been putting it. The thing is some of us just don't want to settle for T-Bolt. Weather it's the Bionic or Targa, IMO Moto will put out a better 4G device than HTC did.

Hope you are enjoying your T-bolt.

Well, yeah, there will be better devices, just like the X was a better device than the Droid when it originally came out. However, at this point, the delay on these other devices coming out are just going to be so far in the future, that it didn't make sense to wait.

And I am loving this TBolt. Faster and smoother than my old Droid, and my battery life is nowhere near the horror stories others have been saying. Yeah, there are issues every now and again with it draining when its not on Wifi, but with the news out of Moto's camp today, I'm now convinced thats a problem with Verizon and not the TBolt. Once 4G is turned on here, I shouldn't have any problems (I'm literally going to be in the middle of an area thats about 50 miles to each side that will have LTE... my signal will be very strong).

What's funny is u bought a Thunderbolt in an area with no 4G and you are experiencing battery life problems, wait till u have that option you better have a charger for work and home use.
