Ics soak test has begun!!!!!!!!

And in case people thought I was joking....

LinuxMac_HouseOfBionic_(1.4).tar.gz:
MD5: ebcc5a16f87a9dfddb7cc7d755f9b03e

1.4 install

NOTE: Please read the README file for instructions.

For linux users that need to get the updates and can't extract the update installers using WINE, there is another solution:

InnoExtract

Download and extract that. Then you can download the SamuriHL_HouseOfBionic_(24x).exe update installers and use the innoextract.sh script to extract the files. Move the 24x folder into the LinuxMac_HouseOfBionic folder and instant support for any new update.

None of the ICS builds would install with forever root. The answer is simple. They assert on the file that forever root changes on your system partition.

Yea it deletes the data partition. I was wondering if OTA people would have these kinds of problems. I've seen a lot of this crap with the HoB over the months. Seems it doesn't matter how you do the update. No wonder vzw and moto wanted to delay this thing.

Alright, that's why my update's been failing!

Yes indeed. The way I deal with it is by having people use the HoB. If you don't want to use it to install the update, that's fine, but, the 905 FXZ KEEP DATA option will clean up that stuff so that you can install it. Or you can just say screw it and use the HoB to do the 246 INSTALL option in which case you don't need to do anything but follow the directions.

just pulled it around 3 pm, took about 45 min to download on 3g. i was running a completely stock bionic, and never signed up for any soaks, so i'm def a happy camper that i got it today. i just checked every couple of hours for system update, and then out of the blue it got it. i couldn't stop smiling for the whole 45 min lol, now im home from work so i can play with it and figure out my "new" phone.

That's how my phone looks like now

I'm envious! My phone is still boring, slow GB.

What I find condescending is the message I get when I check for an update:

Your device is up to date!

No update is necessary at this time.

My message to Verizon is: I respectfully disagree. My device is NOT up to date. And it IS necessary that I get the available update!
