iPhone Coming To Verizon Due To Droid Fears

LOL Verizon is getting the Iphone just like the Droid Pro was some 1.5Ghz smartphone with a 12Mp camera with 1080p

well i'm certain verizon will get the Iphone at some point because at the end of the day it's all about the "All Mighty" Dollar. It's just when? I honestly am looking forward to the "T2".

I'll believe it when we have an official announcement from either VZW or Apple (or both really). Current rumors say nothing about it being an LTE iPhone, which would make it silly to have on Verizon. Plus, there's the whole ad campaign of being able to talk and do data simultaneously, which is currently not possible on Verizon unless using wireless for the data. So no, I don't think the iPhone is coming to Verizon this January. However, I could see an announcement in January for the iPhone 5 to be released to both AT&T and VZW and be LTE compatible (when is AT&T rolling it out again?).

Yeah, despite the fact that this hasn't been the first time that this "rumor" has surfaced. It seems that with all the publicity the idea of a Verizon IPhone is getting, it might actually be true this time.

IPhone brings competition and we should look at that as a positive thing, but I'm sticking with Android all the way, my next phone will be an Android and I don't see that changing anytime soon regardless if the apple brand makes it over

android is great no matter what the iphone does there is still only one iphone per year to choose.... its all about what steve jobs wants... he wants a 3.7" screen and that only and thats all you can have... me personally I want a bigger screen maybe not 4.3" like the x but 4" no doubt like the samsungs... android phones compete amongst each other between brands and as a whole they compete vs iphones.... its great competition thats bringing better phones everyday and i'm with android till the end

cant wait for 4g and the new phones that come out for it... i'll be hanging onto my droid 1 until them

didn't mention blackberry or windows mobile because theres no reason to... they have zero to offer in the smart phone world... add nokia to that list

I have to say Miami is telling the truth...iPhone is definitely coming to Verizon in January. They are expecting to make the announcement in November or early December.

As you know Big Red is unpredictable with press releases so who knows but if everyone in this forum continues to drive this topic even further the announcement may come sooner.

This forum has caused a stir during the Android updates which led to Verizon to push their updates earlier than expected because of the outcry in here. As I did have the original updates time line, but awesome job VZW droid users you pushed it up.

Again Miami congrats you are the first non VZW employee to announce iPhone to Big Red.

I am rocking a droid 1 and i personally think that the software is better then iphone and i like the physical keyboard a lot!
But i think i might switch to iphone just because it is sexier
but i admit that iphone os will never compete with android, at lest in this decade.

That would be cool if we could have android gingerbread on the iphone 4 lol

Apple plans to do a LTE version on iPhone 5. This is believable given the LTE expansion in the US and over seas.


I have a Droid X and at this time have no need for a iPhone. My Droid X does everything a iPhone 4 does and many things better, like NOT DROPPING CALLS.
