Manually Update to 2.0.1

I use dolphin and I see no lag after the update. It is very fast. Also has pinch zoom. the only thing I don't like about dolphin is when it opens a new page it does not fit it in the screen. You have to zoom it down.

Mine still goes to the call log after manual update. Is there a way to make it go to the home screen? I would like mine to go there.

apparently there is an app that will take you to the home screen after the call (according to a post in this thread). but i would like to know if the people who claim that their calls go straight to the home screen, have that app and all that is happening is that app kicking in?

Can I do this just through the phone or do I download the file through my PC then drag and drop to my SD card in my phone while its hooked up to the computer? This was not explaine. Please help I would like to try it because it is not coming to me.
I used the phone using simple file manager and download crutch lite. Worked great

Not too sure

Got the update...not too impressed. Browser is somewhat slower no question. Tried it on my wife's and a friend--both also slow. Camera not all that different. Focus maybe a little better, not sure I would have noticed if I did not know phone had been updated. hotmail also did not work initially on 2 phones. Had to unistall and reinstall.

I just manually installed 2.0.1 and had no issues. Definitely runs the OS faster and seems slightly more responsive. Thanks for the heads up, Bots. I hate waiting.

email sync problems

Hotmail sync still a problem with update. Getting old messages every five minutes on 3 different phones.

I did the update about 3 times as the night went on with 3 different updates/roots.

FB works great. Browser is lovely still.

Hey where did you find the different updates? Do you apply these just the same as the one at the beginning of this thread? Wish my browser was lovely :/. The problem with the lights on the keyboard and bottom buttons is back as well. No backlighting on either.

Is anyone else getting a significant increase in battery life since the update? 9 hours since i left for class this morning with moderate use and i'm at 50%

My keyboard light turns off in about 3 seconds if the ambient lighting in the room is bright enough to see good by.

By the same token, it turn on in about 3 seconds if the lights are turned off in the room and your left in the dark.

I'm reading that almost globally.. like the keyboard light going off when not needed...
Its like your checkbook.. a little here and a little there.. really adds up! :)

I did this yesterday and it worked like a champ. They fixed the text messenger problem that was causing my text-message client to crash after about 30 messages. I've been going all day without an issue.

WOOT!

There is still no option for sending audio through MMS.....This is really nerve racking!!!!!:mad::mad:Almost the only thing that would make this the perfect phone....

They Have really let me down,
Hank

Windstrings...

Thanks a lot. Your are correct, dunno why I didn't think to turn the lights off. Backlighting working perfect... now on to browser problem! Go Google go!
