Manually Update to 2.0.1

It will attach recorded audio to a text message just not an mp3 from what I can find...
Options (after update are) selecting "Attach"

Videos
Capture Video
Record Audio
Sideshow

I never tried it b4 the update so I don't know if they added that or if it has always been there.

Yeah the mp3 is what I am referring to, I have so many friends that like the ringtones I make with a program called Audacity and yet I can't send them through mms like I have been able to since....well...I got my 1st cell phone :frown: . I am sure it will be addressed in a future update or maybe even somehow fixed with an app or the Droid being rooted may lead to some solution. Only time will tell.... :unsure:

when i turn droid on the soft keys do not light up at the red eye screen? Is this something that has changed? None of the lights flash until I hit the lock/unlock button, then the soft keys and keyboard light up.... not really a big deal though since I don't turn it off that much.

Also is it me or is facebook a little slower than before?

This because it now shuts the lights off when thry are not needed. Turn the lights off in your room and they will turn on after a few seconds. This goes for the keyboard as well.
 
I'm trying, and it's not updating.. renamed it... update.zip. Tossed it on the root of the SD card and it cant' initialize it says...
 
Keyboard and soft keys do not light up at all under any circumstance after update. Am I missing something.
 
OK power manager fights with upgrade due to battery save options. Ditched it smooth as butter now also whoever's keyboard isnot lighting, do u have a app that messes with settings?
 
Update works

If anyone is wondering, this update works..no problems installing. Just follow the intructions and you should be ok.
