i have everything fully working, only thing thats doesnt work for me is changing my wallpaper, its the stock granite lookin wallpaper.
for sum reason i cant change the wallpaper in gallery or regular wallpapers only live wallpapers can be set

any ideas, im using 1.25ghz kernel, but OC at 900mhz. using smoked theme from ultimate droid. didnt install new radio baseband

Oh and Droid light from Motorola now works, something which was broken on the first froyo 2.2

That is enough to convince me it is better : ) loading...

Yeah for me also a lot of my paid apps aren't showing up. Time to go back to the first release.

I didn't wipe anything, just installed over the top. But since this is a backup and not a rom (semantics) it wipes it anyways I believe. anywhooo, installed put all apps back on, reinstalled adw, removed the ****ty apps, configured how I like it, put the p3 1.2ghz kernel on.

the only way a theme would break it is if its a whole new market. I would wait until I report the theme other apks could have change and you guys just loaded all the old apk from the previous leak

Is this a leak, or a port like the last froyo? I hear the first froyo was NOT a leak?

Yeah I would wait for me to port it! I just flashed and all my aps apid and free ones restored. should take about 20 to 30 mins or so!

Yea, the official 2.2 is coming soon......July at the latest. When we see no more new leaks, its just around the corner.

I dont mind being a beta tester. I did it Vista and Win 7, I can do it here too. lol

So does this version already have wifi working? I just updated from cyanogen mod using clockwork and everything seems to be working great... I started wifi tether after it downloaded from market and it took superuser permissions. It started but I don't have a PC to test on. Also do I need to flash clockwork again?

i am having a similar problem..

Checking MD5 sums...
Erasing boot before restore...
REstoring boot image...
Error while flashing boot image!

i have tried the spr method as well and failed.
i have the firmware version 2.1 - update1
i have tried on multiple different roms.
the general recommended instructions have been followed exactly.
i have followed all instructions from fellow users with no positive outcome.

pending any advice the only thing i can think left to do is flash sbf back to 2.0.1 and root and try this again.

please someone out there save me the trouble..

So you downloaded and tried both files ? SPR and clockwork ? Hmm if you have followed all the directions then not sure what else it could be.. corrupt file download ? but not both you wouldn't think .

Everything that wasnt working before on the last leak such as, Chrome-To-Phone, MotoTorch and Maps Market Install is now working.
