titamium backup wont restore my apps and market didnt show any apps i downloaded i did a data/cache wipe a couple times before installing with spr should i just install this over the previous leak with out wiping??

Well, just reinstalled after wiping.. and market now downloads again properly. I was using beta 7 drop theme for froyo, so something in the theme is obviously messing up market for some reason.

Late to the party. I read through the thread but this late right after work...its all a blurr. This version gets installed like the last one right. Put the contents in your nandroid folder or do you run it as an update.zip...im running sprecovery

I just did an advanced restore - restore /system and everything is working fine except HomerunHitter3D is not showing up in the Market anymore... it's installed on my phone and working, but I can't find it on the Market any more... very odd...

ChromeToPhone is working great, as well as DroidLight (yay!), but this issue with my paid app is frustrating me..

Oh and Droid light from Motorola now works, something which was broken on the first froyo 2.2

That is enough to convince me it is better : ) loading...

This app is working now, chrome-to-phone is working now.....

Yea, the official 2.2 is coming soon......July at the latest. When we see no more new leaks, its just around the corner.

I dont mind being a beta tester. I did it Vista and Win 7, I can do it here too. lol

i am having a similar problem..

Checking MD5 sums...
Erasing boot before restore...
REstoring boot image...
Error while flashing boot image!

i have tried the spr method as well and failed.
i have the firmware version 2.1 - update1
i have tried on multiple different roms.
the general recommended instructions have been followed exactly.
i have followed all instructions from fellow users with no positive outcome.

pending any advice the only thing i can think left to do is flash sbf back to 2.0.1 and root and try this again.

please someone out there save me the trouble..

Hey man, I was talking to a guy last night that had the same problem with his phone on the previous build. He said his buddy had the same setup he did and wasn't having any trouble.

He finaly gave up after trying both recoverys multiple times.

How old is your phone? I was really stumped trying to help the guy, but nothing seemed to work.
