Google listen still broken.

Updated to the latest and greatest! THANKS to all the most excellent Android people for doing all this cool stuff...

Couple of little things: My folders, Misc Apps and Games on one of my screens are now empty; no biggie, the apps are still in my drawer.
Market will still not allow me to update Google maps (it appears in the market like I've not even installed it yet). I get an error message once it trys to install. I have Maps version: 4.2.0 (#4210)gmm-android-verizon on my phone. IS THIS THE LATES VERSION?
TIA

App2SD in Froyo?

Does anyone know if app2sd was added to this or the updated Froyo 2.2?

I have asked this a few times in different forums but no one has directed me as to where to go to check that option.
I Cryo, UD you had to go into applications and check the option.

Does anyone know where I need to go to activate it, or did they not add it to this release?

Also did anyone else have problems with the launcher draw?
When I tap on the box of dots (bottom middle) and the house appears at times (many times) the app's don't appear. I have to restart the launcher.

Thanks

I was under the impression (and that's all it was) that the Apps2SD option was set individually for particular apps by a developer. Given that, I wondered how Froyo would handle it for existing apps on a user's phone, especially those that had been updated for 2.2 prior to its installation.

I would think that even if an app has been modified to run from the SD card a user would have to update or reinstall it to take advantage of the option.

Google Voice notifications are in real time, again - various LED flashlights all work again.

Maps still won't update from the market. I assume it's because Maps.apk installed itself in /system/app. I suspect ROMs will fix that.

Thanks for letting me know that. For that reason alone I'll do the update.

Just installed leak #2 over the first leak. Running great with zero problems. Here's what I did.

- Sprecovery install
- Wiped cache (did not wipe data)
- Only did a recovery on the system tar
- Did not replace Boot.img or data.

Maps is 4.2.0, the most current, and shows installed on the newest version of Froyo.

Listen is running fine for me. Haveyou tried signing into Google Reader with the account you have set up on your phone to see if it just needs to sync?

Strange I cant boot into neither clockwork or sprecovery

Power off,
Power on,
Hold x key an it doesn't boot into any recovery.

Stays at the M and everything was ok until I tried to boot in for the kernel update.

If I power off and then on holding nothing I can bootup and the device turns on ok.
Any ideas?

Thanks

OK I went into ROM Manager and switched to SPRecovery and it didn't allow me to the sprecovery menu.
Just sits at the M.

Did Froyo update break this option or did something else change?X is still the letter to hold?

Does anyone know if this build is newer or older than the "new" build that was released on droid-life this morning? It looks like that one has a build of voles-userdebug 2.2 FRF57 38829 test-keys. The one I downloaded from here last night is FRFXX 33333... Anyone know?

music volume

Has anyone noticed that the volume through headphones is lower? When I was on 2.1 and I turned the volume up fairly high it could blow my ears out. Now I have it turned up and can still hear everything around me.
